Giardino 54 was the perfect place to grab a bite before the show. The five of us had a lovely dinner! Four of us ordered pasta and one ordered the tuna. Everyone loved their meal. We enjoyed the grilled calamari before our entrees and the tiramisu for dessert. Both were exceptional!

Four fried calamari for $22– are you kidding? Burnt bottom layer of lasagna. In general, Just adequate food for out of wack prices. Looked like a very cute place, but will not be returning.

Under other circumstances, I would give this restaurant a decent review, but the staff's inability to deal with rowdy and disruptive patrons made for a miserable dining experience.

This was an excellent find for delicious Italian. The cocktails are point, try the ginger cosmo, it is excellent! The ricotta and spinach tortellini with sage butter sauce was chef’s kiss! My husband went old school with bolognese sauce and spaghetti but that sauce was out of this world! Topped with pistachio cheesecake and it was a lovely evening.

We went to pre-theater and were as impressed with the food and the ambience. Will return to use the outside garden in season.

The food was delicious. Service was great. The Old Fashioned did not taste very good, however. Otherwise, definitely a place to return.

Normally I’m a bit of an Italian food snob since I’ve grown up with it. I was blown away by the experience at Giardino 54. It’s cozy, with attentive staff, delicious food and priced fairly. We sampled from the menu: amazing fennel salad, homemade pastas (killer gnocchi, delicate fettuccini and spaghettini), flavorful stuffed chicken with broccoli rabe and to top it off - the best panna cotta I’ve enjoyed. If you find yourself in this area of Hell’s Kitchen, highly recommend. I would be a regular here if I was a New Yorker 😊

It was overall wonderful. They were very accommodating in changing our reservation time at the last minute. Server was very attentive and knowledgeable. The sea bass with capers was perfect and their homemade pasta was amazing. However, the VERY best part was the pistachio ricotta cheesecake. Truly the best dessert I have ever had

Our last night in NYC, I decided to book some Italian. I researched many places to find the right prices and quality of food I was looking for. Giardino didn't disappoint. The drinks were great and the food was absolutely delicious! Everyone of us loved what we ordered. All the plates were cleaned. We all tried each other's food and my favorite was the short ribs with spicy polenta. I made a reservation on OpenTable, but it was not too busy. They called me to see if a high table would be fine. I said it was fine because I thought they were busy. Turns out we could have had a regular table and chairs. After walking so much in NYC, I wouldn't recommend the high tables if you want to relax. If you get a chance, go here to eat.

The food and wine was fantastic. The music was great. The service was wonderful. The only thing we struggled with was that the entire place filled with smoke from the kitchen. We stepped out a few times thinking it just needed to be aired out but it lingered until we left.

Small, cozy restaurant but with plenty of table spacing. There was a large variety of menu items and all of the food we ordered was great. Our cocktails were delicious. Definitely a keeper.

My wife and I arrived at the restaurant about 45 minutes before our reservation time and sat at the bar and had a drink and an appetizer. The bar offers a happy hour from 4-7 with reduced prices. We had the Bruschetta trio which was delicious. The bartender was very cordial and we enjoyed speaking to her. Dinner was very good. My wife had the salmon special and I had the branzino. We would definitely recommend the restaurant.

Pre-matinee brunch. At first we were skeptical of the quality since we were not in the fancy part of the restaurant. The server was super attentive. The drinks were great, the food delicious, and my sensitivity to ingredients was never an issue. I would go back and I definitely recommend it.

Hi- We had a dinner for 12 people and Giardino 54 handled it so wonderfully! They had a table all ready well before our dinner started. The service was attentive and didn't blink an eye at the large group. The service was very timely and the food was great. They even let us bring in a cake. Overall great choice if you need a quality bite before a show at Lincoln Center or Broadway.

Great service, first was seated in back room close to a party of 6. It was very loud and close to other tables, so we moved to small solo table in front of restaurant. They were very accommodating. Also had high top tables so you don’t have to be crowded in back room. Food was very good, a little salty. We had short ribs with slightly spicy polenta and lasagne with very creamy sauce which was delicious but a little rich.

The most delicious and flavorful Italian food. Loved the ambiance, very small cute and cozy restaurant. Drinks were also amazing but the food was to die for. The smell of garlic when you walk in to the restaurant is intoxicating. I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!

The food and service were both very good but the seating area was actually in a sort of greenhouse with walls and since it was pouring the floor was flooding and the walls were leaking. The waiters were constantly mopping and doing their best. It was my birthday dinner so it was quite an adventure!

We came to NYC for a vacation with our two teens. We wanted a nice night out, good food and not to spend a fortune. Found this place on Open Table. It’s quaint and welcoming with excellent food and service. The fresh pasta was so good! All four of us were so happy with our dishes. Our daughter is vegetarian and the options for her were plentiful. We had a fantastic time. The food was fresh with quality ingredients and the service was amazing, very attentive. Highly recommend. Their rosemary old fashioned was a unique twist on a classic and so good!
