It all started when two friends noticed Puerto Rico's nightlife scene could use a dash of the live music, mixology and vibes they experienced in Atlanta.

While searching for locations in Paseo Caribe, they were visited by a colorful peacock. The founders saw the bird's presence as a good luck charm. They also noticed the peacock's elegance, colors and patterns, which then became the inspiration for the branding and look and feel of what George Music Lounge came to be. Now, the lounge aims to become the high-end lounge for those who want to enjoy premium gastronomy, mixology, and experiences.

It’s a newer place. When we got there it was dead and the service was still very very slow. The food though is amazing. It’s definitely a party spot as the night progresses. I would go and party there but would probably not go back for a dinner with friends.

Whatever you do, don't go here on a Monday night. They have something called crypto Mondays where there is no music. Just talking. And it was filled with creepy old white men that were ogling my sister and I making us uncomfortable. We left after one drink. The drinks were good and the ladies that served us were nice.

A must when in San Juan!! This place was great from start to finish. As soon as you walk in the vibe is lively. The set up is eye catching. The service was great all night. The food is tapas and everything we tried had us wanting more. Plenty of drink options that are amazing too. They also offer cigars and have outdoor seating. At a certain point in the night they have a live DJ as well. We'll definitely be back.

9pm was too early on a Friday for the vibe I wanted. I was maybe 1 of 3 people in there. I'm sure it would have been much better later. I only had a drink then left.
