FYI - This restaurant is not open for dinner. I was able to make a reservation but the establishment looks abandoned. No one answered the phone and there were no other patrons. Thanks!

We arrived at the restaurant on time. The doors were locked. We tried calling the restaurant many times with no one picking up. We ended up going to another Brazilian steakhouse in Walnut Creek that was AMAZING!

Gaucho steakhouse in San Ramon are permanently closed for dining. But the nightclub is open 9 pm to ….. When making reservation thru open table for 6:30 dining upon arriving to the restaurant the doors were closed and locked. Called restaurant and was told restaurant dining is permanently closed. Has been for the past 2 weeks. But the nightclub/lounge is open 9pm. OT should notify their customers, who are looking forward to a Brazilian dining experience, that Gaucho is closed for dining.

It’s an okay restaurant. The place was completely empty a Tuesday at 7pm, we were the only two people in the entire restaurant. The meat was a roulette - some were flavorful and some where chewy and flavorless.The salad bar has a very $9.99 buffet vibe. Our waiter however was kind and attentive.

The restaurant was not very busy as you would expect from a Brazilian Steak House. I expected a regular meal since I’m not a huge eater.. but on Friday’s & Saturday’s you can only do the $69 taste test everything and buffet sides.. overly priced for what we consumed.. Service wasn’t spectacular but our waiter was personable and informative. Would I go back .. probably not to that one!!

I am not sure if it was Brazilian steakhouse or Brazilian chicken house? Very unorganized! Forgot 3 items water, bread, coffee . Waiter reaction was next time you come in I will take care of you 😳 well I am here and you didn’t take care of us not you want to do it next time Waste of time and money in this place there are much better places than this in Bay Area.

So much fun! We went for a girlfriends birthday and had a great time. Luis was a great host! And the Dj was great!

This place was AMAZING! I'd go every week if I could. Our server Louis was fantastic and the food and ambience was great. This place comes highly recommended

Fabulous salad bar ... all you can eat. But don't forget the great choice of meat, fish and fowl!! Service is a little spotty. The meats come around constantly, but it can be hard to flag a waiter for a drink or anything else. Go for it! You'll have a great meal!

This was for Valentine’s Day. I love Brazilian Steakhouses and this was our first time at Gaucho’s. Love the music! Food was great (we got full) and service was complimentary. Ambiance A plus!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. I’m not sure if this experience is unique to me but the service here was horrible. It’s like we were invisible. We were never greeted by our server. We were never checked on throughout our dinner. The selection is very limited and the food is mediocre. The servers came around our table every 30ish minutes. They play loud elevator music. Not worth the time and money. There are WAY better AYCE steakhouses. Don’t make the same I did.

It was nice, however I did have to let the host know that our table wasn't being served as often as it should for the flat rate we had to pay. The waitress were going to every table but ours and we had a large group. Outside of that, the food was goos and the host was accommodating. The drinks were on point!

We were seated immediately, Then waited 10 min. (seemed longer), for somebody to come and give us water and tell us what we needed to do. Went to the salad bar, got some salad, rice and turkey meat. returned to the table, turned are tab to green. Got offered some sausage, chicken wings, lemon chicken and some skirt steak, small slivers of each, No high end cuts of meat were offered. After the chicken hearts were offered, we decided to leave, got the bill for the 2 of us, $200.00 dollars and we left hungry.

The food servings were small , not many selections and you had to wait for a while until the next offering came around.we have been to a couple of other Brazilian steakhouses so we had a good idea of what to expect.

We tried this on a whim. Food was good, lots of variety, they came continually and came back with anything requested very promptly. The salad bar is an extra charge -it had a good variety. Price was about $50/pp which was a good deal for the amount of meat my 3 teens ate! The variety of meat was excellent, and the quality of meat was very good and very flavorful. Most was served medium rare. We didn’t love everything but that’s expected we tried everything and requested more of the ones we liked. Everyone left very full! Grilled pineapple is one of our favorites!- I think they said honey tajin and brown sugar coating. Service was excellent. Servers were all very attentive and continually brought water refills and soda refills. Ambiance a little odd- it’s a nightclub on the weekends from 9-12ish-so there is a big dance floor in the middle but was fine as we were there from 7-840 on a Friday night. Glad to see this restaurant in San Ramon. My kids liked it and we will be back!

It was my first time eating at this place so I didn’t t know what to expect. When we arrived we were seated and we waited for someone to approach our table to take our order. When our guy came over, he said the first step is to go to the self serve salad bar - so we did. Lot’s of great choices there so we filled up our plates and went back to our table. Then, every few minutes, a different server came by to offer us delicious, hand carved, slices of steaks, shrimp, pork, and pineapple and all tasted amazing! Go hungry and leave very satisfied. We stayed for the NYE celebration as they convert to a nightclub after dinner which was a “off the hook” great time!

They sliced the meat very thin. They didn’t come around enough with meat and didn’t have a variety like they said. They also stopped showing up with food when the restaurant got busy and we had the green side up. Sadly we even told a waiter we wanted more meat and he said ok. Never showed up. 20 minutes later they didn’t check on us they just came with the bill. That’s when we complained and then tried to give us more meat but it was too late. Sadly Will not be going back.

Where do I start? How about the lack of waiters and the long wait for any type of meat to come by. Some of the meat I don’t think are fresh either I had a horrible stomach ache when I got home. Not worth $69 per person and the $35 corkage fee. You are better off driving to Fogo de Chao. I won’t be coming back to this establishment ever .
