Residing within Nashville’s iconic Midtown neighborhood, Gathre is a stylish & contemporary American restaurant, serving classic fare with modern twists. Our menu is influenced by the best ingredients rooted in the region. Located steps away from historic Music Row, Vanderbilt University, Centennial Park and Downtown Broadway, Gathre is the perfect place to gather(re) for a taste of Nashville.

Serving breakfast 7 days a week, Gathre is known for our "Broadway Breakfast," a wholesome start to the day with your choice of eggs, meat, and toast with preserves. Pair with a latte from our very own Café Antler for the best breakfast in Midtown!

Weekend dinners just got better with Gathre's live entertainment! Join us from 6-10pm Friday and Saturday night paired with an espresso martini, burrata, and our apple mostrada pork chop.

I have had the opportunity to dine at this establishment more than once, and it has been a few months since I’ve eaten here. However on Sunday, I had brunch with my family and was extremely disappointed in the quality of the food. Most of the menu items have changed or they do not taste like they had before. Please consider the customer when making changes to your menu because if it doesn’t heighten the experience, then I believe no changes should be made. That was definitely the overall opinion for my meal and the others dining with me on Sunday. I loved this place and the location, but the new changes do not match the quality dining experience I’ve had in the past.

This place was AMAZING!!!! We went for brunch for Mother’s Day & everything was delicious! The aesthetic was everything! Definitely will return!

Food was good but we had issues with the service. Service was slow and they were not busy. We tried ordering a bottle of wine twice and they kept coming back to say they were out. It took at least 20 minutes for them to come up with a different option and we didn’t get the wine until after we finished dinner. They did offer a discount on a more expensive bottle and gave us free desserts. Overall wasn’t terrible but for the price definitely expected better service.

Food was good but they recently changed to a very reduced menu from what’s listed online, so we couldn’t get the brunch we planned to. The Egg Mcduckin and cinnamon roll were great and the biscuits and gravy were on par for the south.

Ran out of a lot of things by the time we got there. Poached eggs were not that good. They had to make them over. Service was ok. There was a host there named Tyler that was awesome!! He did a better job than the waitress!

Food was excellent. Appeared understaffed as it was a holiday weekend and Valentine's Day weekend. But the hostess even stepped in to help. Live music on Friday and Saturday nights and the vocalist they had was outstanding!! Made up for the short fall on the service.

The ambiance is absolutely amazing however the food was not. Came here for the valentines set menu experience and it did not taste good. The polenta looked like rubber and tasted bad. Scallops were not good. Service and everything was great but the food was definitely not worth the $95.

Everything we ordered was undercooked. For Valentines day to be special, I would assume they knew how to get their menu down to a sense of cohesiveness. However, after being attempted to be served raw pork and undercooked crab soup, I am extremely disappointed. Not worth the $250 spent with empty promise of taking care of guest. Wife was finally just given the risotto since there is no way you can ruin that. Subpar at best.

This was a great hidden gem! My husband and I both got the burgers which were delicious. There was a live dj which made it more fun! Loved the vibe.

My wife and I had dinner at Gathre on a Saturday night. We found the service to be lackluster, the menu severely over-priced and the whole experience to be pretty lame.

I wish the food presentation was a lot better when I went. The atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful and so is the service. The downfall is lack of attention to the dishes I had tried: not a good presentation, the food was subpar (I ordered 2 entrees from the brunch menu) and truly lacked flavor, and the only good thing I had was honestly the mimosa.

The food quality didn’t match the high prices. The Scallops were cooked very well and well presented. The other dishes were very disappointing. The “lava cake” had no running chocolate, it was like a simple cake picked up at walmart. The Rib Eye steak was served cold, and it wasn’t a high quality cut.

Overall, the food and atmosphere was very good. Server service could have been better; I understand that it wasn't very busy but they could checked in one more time not just once.

We had a large group which I know can be difficult for servers. It took us 40min to get our drinks and the server pretty much ignored us after. We would have continued to drink-saw other diners getting their drinks. Food was good but wish our server was a little more attentive to us. Wouldn’t even drop the check off at our table-had someone else do it. Dissapointing to say the least.

Valet parking was okay upon arrival but a challenge getting out with others trying to get into the hotel. Once inside, it was difficult to find the hostess stand which is through the bar and band area and in the lower level of the restaurant with the entrance from Broadway. The staff was very friendly but appeared to be covering more than a reasonable number of guests. The meals were fine. The live entertainment was excellent. Drinks were okay but pricey. Doubtful we would go back.

The pork chop was delicious and was served with brussel sprouts which had a really good flavor. The scallops were good but the side served with it was not. The service was prompt and attentive. They had a nice band playing but unfortunately because of the small area, the music was too loud to have a conversation without feeling like you had to talk loudly to hear.

Loved Gathre. Jon was great. Lobster Benedict was so fresh and the Shirt Rob Mac n cheese was amazing. The portions were on point. Will definitely be back.

This was our first time there and we went based on a friend’s recommendation. We had an enjoyable time. The ambience was great and the DJ was great and the music wasn’t too loud so we didn’t have to yell at one another. The food was very good! The chicken on the chicken and waffle was seasoned to perfection! Oh yeah, the breakfast shot with bacon was delicious!

First time. Trying someplace new to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Place was busy with several large groups of 10 or more that I think slowed service down. Our server was nice. Live music was nice but loud volume made it hard to talk. Will keep in mind for other times.

Charles provided incredible service! Our dinner was great with live music. We enjoyed the scallops and branzino as well as cocktails.

It was wonderful! Our server was great!!! Meals & drinks great! Beautiful place! Loved there was a dj! We had a party of 11 and wish we could of had had individual checks instead of combining the total of everyone and splitting it but that didn't take away from all the good! I was happy i chose Gathre for my bday brunch! We are all locals & will all be back!

A wonderful restaurant with an excellent menu and a pretty good wine list . The Quail was outstanding and the Chocolate Molton cake was fresh berries impossible to pass up!

We went for brunch and it was a great meal and experience! Our server John was friendly and excellent. He even surprised us with a huge cinnamon roll with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate on the plate. We didn’t even tell anyone it was our anniversary in a few days but realized it was in our profile in Open Table. But Wow! What amazing service and attention to detail! There was also live jazz music which added to the sophisticated atmosphere.

The menu was very mediocre for the prices and the amount of food.. They didn’t have a lot of selections to choose from. There were no side dishes that you could partake in and it was just not worth the price. Our server was nice- Charlie and the ambience was beautiful but we expected so much more. I may be back if they upgrade their menu.
