I booked an 11a reservation for Mothers Day Brunch. While I could not find anything on their website that confirmed they had a brunch menu, I did find Google reviews saying they had a great normal Sunday brunch - so I thought Mother's Day would be at least that good if not better. We arrived, sat down, and were told they did NOT have a Mother's Day Brunch menu, but just their normal dinner menu. While the food was good, none of us wanted a large steak or seafood dinner at 11a for Mother's Day Brunch. In retrospect, I wish I had called to ask if they had a brunch menu, but in taking my ELEVEN AM reservation on MOTHER'S DAY - the restaurant should have had something in reply letting me know they did not have a brunch menu. I'm sure it's a great spot for dinner / music / nightlife, but totally missed the mark here.

The seafood and salads were phenomenal and the portions were a good size. But…The service was a disaster. It wasn’t crowded but it took 35 minutes for a drink order to arrive. Two salads arrived 10 minutes apart. One appetizer came in the middle of us eating our entrees. And the server could not have cared less. At least the manager was apologetic. I hope they can work the kinks out as this place has potential, but given the review history, I’m not hopeful. PS Although it looks like it, The Gaslight is not really an old time “supper club” where people dress up (even the manager wore casual jeans and shoes) and music plays in the background. It is more like an upscale restaurant with a stage and music that is a little too loud for easy conversation.

Great place for bar food, music, and dancing. This is not a fine dining establishment. We had the steak and lamb chops because they were on the menu, so why not try it. The food was not seasoned that well, it really was not a fine dining experience. Charcuterie, fries, burgers are excellent, just stick to that.

The appetizers, drinks and live music was good. The steak is overpriced and I had to send my steak back due to being over cooked!

The manager was welcoming, cheerful, and checked on us several times, alas, his attention was not enough. I have a severe egg allergy and very clearly made this known to the waiter as I ordered the wagu beef burger but needed to verify the bun was safe for me to eat. We didn’t see the waiter again (still waiting for my wife’s drink) until the food came out. He had not confirmed my food was safe and had not checked on us in about 20 minutes. My wife’s food was getting cold so she ate without me. Finally, the manager happened by and I flagged him down to ask about the bun. Astonished, he immediately said it contained eggs. He took it back to see about another bun option and returned with flat bread for a bun, which was fine. I finally went to eat my $22 hamburger, ordered medium rare; it was well done and cold. I didn’t eat it, nor did anyone come back to ask if our food was OK. I took it home and warmed it up later but it was so well done it was like a brick. I gave it to our dogs. We spent over $250 on this meal for two and left thoroughly disappointed that my health had been put at risk, my food was not prepared properly and tasted horrible, and the overall lack of quality service one expects from a nice restaurant.
