The food was excellent and the service was second to none. It was our anniversary and the staff went out of there way to wish us a happy anniversary.

On Thursday 16/05/24, my wife and I attended Garfish, Manly for lunch. Garfish has always had great food but the service sets it apart from other restaurants. You can tell the service staff have been properly trained, no pretense, just good service . We had the fixed menu, as what we intended to order was on it anyway. The ocean trout ceviche' was magnificent. Every mouthful was a taste sensation and the sri lankan fish & tiger prawn curry - Gluten free and the Snapper pie were as brilliant as ever. I don't usually tell anyone about how good this restaurant is because I want to keep it to myself. If you go and have the same experience we did, don't go telling everyone because you'll struggle to book next time. Can't recommend highly enough!

Starters were great, scallops and oysters. I had the bugs. Amazing. Unfortunately my friend had the snapper and said it was very bland. No flavour and not what he expected.

Beautiful food. Top class service. Attentive and very professional. Gluten free options were readily available and superbly executed. A wonderful experience. Highly recommend this excellent restaurant!

Regular visitors. Fish is always good, chips very ordinary and salads pretty forgettable. Don't get the aversion to avocado/ salad. Wine list is dominated by Big red wines which seems strange for a seafood restaurant. Maybe some Italian/sangiovese for a bit of variety? Notice the wine by the glass has become a tasting glass. Could easily be better.
