Our server for the night was great. Very attentive and d pleasant. But the food was not up to par for the price. Everything was salty! At first we thought it was from the amount of cheese used for the dishes but even the steak came out super salty. Definitely disappointing because we booked the place for a special occassion.

Gannons quickly turned into one of our favorite spots in Nashville. I have a hard time straying away from their perfectly seasoned NY Strip and crispy garlic potatoes, but I'd like to try everything on the menu. A "can't miss" is the brisket style Prime Rib - my fiancé craves this all the time! Gannon is from the coast near Biloxi, MS so he has a passion for quality seafood and it definitely shows. The tuna tartare is one of the best I've had just about anywhere! Not only is the food to die for, but the staff is unmatched in service. Your water glass will never be empty and you'll feel like you've been a regular here all your life. I bring all my guests here and its become our favorite date night spot as well. Skip all those overpriced and overhyped steak houses in Nashville and come to Gannons for better food, service and definitely prices!

Went here as a place we had never been in town before. Took 20 minutes before we had a server and glasses of water, then another 20 minutes to get our first drink order. We opted for drinks and appetizers here and went somewhere else for the remainder of the night. The food was really good but the drinks were not, granted we ordered off their cocktail menu but got standard cocktails - old fashioned’s. Cocktails were HEAVY on the alcohol and no other flavors. I’d come here for a quick casual meal but walking into a Courtyard Marriott for a “fine dining” experience isn’t really the best first impression. Will try again for a business lunch soon.

Service was great, ambiance was fantastic. I had the oddest special dish. I ordered a Mahi Mahi with shrimp. The dish came out as just that - fried Mahi with shrimp. The strange thing is that it was completely covered in a thick layer of melted cheese. It felt like a river fish dish one may order at Ponderosa on a Tuesday evening after the kitchen staff was mostly dismissed for the evening. I’ll qualify that I’m from up north and we don’t generally drown our dishes in cheese. Perhaps this a southern thing. For $700 (for 4 people) I expected more.

Oysters, wedge salad and lobster bisque were good. Eggplant Olivia and risotto were tasteless and a waste of money. Ribeye was fatty and not worth it at all.

We had a great time for our anniversary!! Food was excellent, the waiter was great, and the grand piano player was superb. Chef Gannon came out and greeted all of the tables and we had a great conversation. Will definitely be back!

Food and service were great. Very fresh . We got the braised beef ( which is enough for 2) and the fish special. Swordfish, get the lobster bisque and creamed spinach. They were amazing.

We had a great time at Gannon’s. The old bank converted to an amazing restaurant was a joy to visit. The food was very good and we enjoyed our time at Gannon’s. Cocktails were excellent and the fish was amazing. Mi would eat at Gannon’s again!!

My wife and I were in town for an event. We were torn between The Palm, Husk, Etch, and Gannons. Everyone had good reviews, and the food looked delicious. Being from out of town (we both have a background in fine dining), we made a reservation online. We called in to ask if they had parking available at the restaurant. The hostess said no and that they would validate our parking if we parked near the restaurant by subway. We found parking near Subway like instructed. We had to pay through an app. Arrived at the restaurant, and they were pretty busy at 8 pm. We were seated in the middle of the room. Our server arrived promptly and greeted us. She took our drink order, and we gave an appetizer order as well (tuna tartar & mushroom risotto). The cocktail that I had was amazing!!! Unfortunately, their cocktail list isn't listed online, so I can't tell you the name. Our appetizers were good as well. The Risotto was way more flavorful than the tuna tartar. After finishing our appetizers and our plates were cleared. Our server kept coming to neighboring tables and checking on them but never stopped with us. A few surrounding tables received their entrees, even though we placed our order before them. Our server kept peeking at our table to see if we had our entrees. At one point, the male host tried to give us someone elses food by mistake. 40 minutes after our appetizers were cleared from the table, we received our entrees. We received our drinks and appetizers in a timely manner, but not the entrees. When our entrees were dropped, we asked for boxes and our check, so we could pack it up because we had waited so long to receive our main course. There were many missed opportunities here, the hostess never gave an address for the parking where the validation could have been used, our server never checked on us at the end, and a manager never stopped by. I expected better service. We'll definitely be going to a different restaurant when we visit Nashville, TN again.

Kelly, our server, was A+++. We were a party of 6 & she floated through all our desires effortlessly. The food was delish. Only 'complaint:' it was COLD. Had to wear my leather jacket & my legs were freezing the whole 2.5 hrs. Wonderful experience otherwise.

Our group throughly enjoyed the dinner we had at Gannons. The live music and service was top notch. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a business dinner. It was a little loud but the ambiance was fun.

It was one of the best meals my wife and I have ever had. I got the filet with a shrimp based sauce over it, garlic mashed and brussel sprouts. My wife got the braised beef wrapped in puff pastry...I forgot the name of the dish...it was amazing and the ambiance and waiter (Cole) were amazing. Try the bigness, they were delicious.

Beautiful decor. Very Art Deco bar and restaurant. Food was delicious. Recommend Prime Rid cooked to perfection. HH oysters were delicious and a great price! Beautiful piano music with a piano playing on a baby grand piano! Lovely evening!!!

What a wonderful place! Like taking a walk back in time! Piano music playing, every Detail in the renovation of This space is absolutely perfect! And the food…exquisite! Drinks made to perfection. We absolutely will be back again! Fantastic !!!

Service was lacking big time. We had to track our waitress down multiple times to get drinks, and she never put our entree orders in until we finally asked her to after we’d been sitting for 15 minutes after finishing our appetizer. The tartare and charcuterie board were delicious, but we were really disappointed with the prime rib. That’s what the restaurant is known for, but our food and the sides were on the cold side, and the meat tasted like ham, not beef. It’s a pricey place to dine if the food and service aren’t top notch.

We wanted to try out Gannons since the Chef was formerly at Skulls Rainbow Room, another excellent Nashville dining experience. We loved the newly renovated restaurant Gannons calls home. The food and service was A+. Loved the wedge salad, and Cajun shrimp entree. My husband loved the Timpano Di Manzo which was like a beef Wellington and it was amazing. We will be back again and we wish them continued success.
