A fabulous restaurant located in a beautiful historic building in downtown Nashville, is a don’t miss! The finishes in this 1905 building is the perfect setting for an outstanding menu of unique appetizers that perfectly match with the great steaks and seafood. A live 3 piece jazz band takes the ambiance to the next level. Also check out the custom ceilings, wine cabinets and tables. Every element of this restaurant has been perfected from the high quality of the ingediaents, furnishing, staff, band and surroundings.

Nashville Rocks & we found a "7"! First timers to GANNONS. It was just a restaurant that blew my wife and I away, WOW! Fantastic Service by server-waiter Bennett, who acted like we came in every night and were his best customers. We saw and actually spoke to both Owners who were meticulously checking on things, and that was damn impressive. "Oysters Brie" were freshly broiled, delicious, and big! Lobster Bisque was OMG. We split a Chicken Piccata with a side of fresh awesome creamed spinach. Perfecto! We didn't make it to their specialty which was Steaks, because everything else was so good. What a treat to say that, probably 1st time ever I have said that too. Fantastic grand Piano player just "laying it down" in the huge dining room, acoustics just were really great. It's really a beautiful place inside. I always err to the side of "good" on reviews of restaurants because it has become so difficult to find good ones, because all of the hurdles we have to jump now to pull off a good dining experience. I only give a perfect 5 unless, well, everything was perfect, and we have found several in Downtown Nashville. That said, if allowable, I would give GANNONS... out of a maximum 5 Stars... a Perfect 7 !!

Don’t let the fact this restaurant is connected to a courtyard Marriott detour you. It’s an enormous art deco classy dining room with over 2 story tall ceilings, live music, and some of the most amazing food preparations we’ve experienced! Every dish was thoughtfully plated and absolutely delicious from the lobster bisque soup to the boudin stuffed quail. The roasted peach salad with hazelnuts, and duck empanadas with blue cheese, were delightful! Bennett the server was knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, and handsome! This is a must while visiting Nashville for any foodies who like to dine with class. Cocktails are on point! Going back for their everyday happy hour! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great place. Music was to loud. Specifically asked if the music would be loud to seat us away from stage. Said it wasn’t loud and sat us 10’ from stage. Other than that all good.

Delicious appetizers and dinner! The meatballs and tuna tartare were our favs. Filets were all cooked exactly as requested, and my scallop dish was delicious, but the pesto orzo was not as "pesto-y" as described. Still very tasty. The beignets for dessert were better than Cafe du Monde! Service was prompt and we even got coffee refills as we lingered over dessert! That never happens these days, so it was noticed and appreciated.

We really enjoyed our dinner! Everything was perfect-service was outstanding. Our entrees were delicious. I had the swordfish special. It was wonderful. The music was a special touch also!
