    The ambiance and decor are great, thanks in part to a fantastic historic location. The service was fast and informative for some of the less common dishes. The reason for the low grade arises from the food itself. The dishes were expensive and not particularly noteworthy, and the kitchen replaced several items because they had “run out”. Generally this is fine, but not notifying us and giving us choices, as well as not notifying our waiter, just seems like bad practice. We might return for drinks and decoration, over the food.

    It was a fabulous evening and the food was fantastic! The service was exceptional, from the super friendly valet, sweet hostess to our spectacular server.

    Wonderful experience. The service was on par, food timing was perfectly spaced, the food was excellent and the building’s ambiance topped the night off! Highly recommend the Gandy Dancer!

    Food is always outstanding at the Gandy Dancer and our waiter, Matthew was excellent. Only negative is that the potatoes were not warm. My mildly blackened halibut was outstanding! Very moist. The other dishes, crab cakes and scallops were great.

    We sat outside on a beautiful day-little road noise. Alex was a wonderful server, wine, Gazpacho, Seafood Trio and Scallops with Risotto were excellent. Alex was great suggesting wine, and entrees.

    We celebrated my birthday, and decided to have a drink at the bar first. From the staff to random strangers, it was a wonderful experience chatting and making new friends. Our server, Isabella, made the experience ever better with her formal relaxed attitude and attention to every detail. What an outstanding night!!!
