Our menu is inspired by the Gaucho culture and the authentic dining tradition of the Brazilian cowboy – grilled meats and fresh salads. With 17 different cuts of meat, ranging from beef, pork, chicken, lamb, and fish, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Hearts of palm, artichoke hearts, sweet beets, asparagus, imported cheeses, and cured meats are only some of almost 40 items that our gourmet salad bar offers.

Bloody excellent:). The server don’t even give you a moment to relax. That meat is flying to your table. Excellent service. Great cuts, and cooked properly not overdone. Definitely will be visiting again. Thanks for the enjoyable lunch visit!

The hostess was a little rude when we entered the place. My kids and wife sat down first but when I came in a little late I wanted to walk over to the patio and join them, but the lady at the front had an attitude and insisted on checking our reservation to make sure I wasn’t some stranger and that I needed to be seated by her. The Mother’s Day meal came at a hefty price 75$ per person and nothing different than their usual menu. Like we’ll charge you an extra 25 for doing nothing extra. Lame. The meat also came out a bit raw. Not everyone enjoys raw filet minion or rib eye, so I wasn’t impressed at all. Don’t waste your time with this place. Go to Rei de Gado or Fogo.

My wife and I really enjoyed our time here. Food was awesome, they do not skimp on the premier steaks. We Also, had the chocolate molten desert. It was so good! The ambience as well as the location in terms of scenery is truly special. The customer service was also excellent!

We love any excuse to eat here! The servers are super attentive especially with our son, they remember our favorite cuts and the preferred temperatures we like them cooked. Everything is always fresh and delicious!

Went for anniversary dinner. Would have liked a quieter area in the restaurant but service was spectacular! Will come back again next time in San Diego.

My sister from London was visiting me so I brought her to this Brazilian Steakhouse, we really loved it so much, all meat that were served to us were really really delicious and so tender

We really enjoyed the meal! Everything was great! The salads and sides bar was pristine and delicious. The meat was medium rare if you wanted unlike other restaurant like this that serve well done. There were so many servers—we were SO well taken care of. We really liked how they asked frequently if we wanted to request another type of meat. We asked for rib eye and medium rare and they came right over with that. We would return again!

Went for my fiancés birthday and loved it! Drinks are really good and there’s so many options for the food. Loved all the items on the salad bar, and the cuts of meat were great! My personal favorites were the cheese bread, grilled cheese with honey, and pineapple. Yum!

Typical steakhouse but with better ambience and food. Great service, the meats were all excellent. Picaña didn’t disappoint. It is pricey but expected. I wouldn’t mind the lighting being a little brighter though, but that’s just the vibe.

I took a party of 5 for my Daughter’s 43rd birthday and it was tremendous! Beautiful place, salad bar was one of the best I’ve ever seen. And the food and service was as good as it gets. Highly recommended. We went at 5 pm and enjoyed a leisurely dinner and were able to talk during our meal, not too noisy. Simply wonderful!

My husband and I are following the keto diet and this has become our go to restaurant when eating out. Their salad bar is amazing, the meats are flavorful and not overly salty and they were able to make me sugar free margaritas!! Great place for both lunch and dinner. Definitely on the every other week rotation for eating out for us!

From start to finish Galpo Gaucho is really the best Brazilian steakhouse in San Diego. Service is warm, friendly, prompt and responsive. Salad bar has so many delicious options and is always being cared after. Meats, stellar. My only complaint is that I eat too much, it’s just so delicious.

This was actually an appalling experience. The hostess kept giving me dirty looks from across the dining room because my autistic child was having a problem behaving. Took about 15 min and was passed several times even though my card was green. Took over 25 minutes to get the check and then an additional 15 to just pay and leave. The think that bothered me most is the bartender was openening a brand new alcohol bottle. Not a big deal only he did it with his teeth!!! What other things are put in people's mouth! My stomach turned in an instant. Personally I don't think I will be back after seeing this type of health hazard. Would have rather gone to fogo but wanted to try this place before they open a new one in Irvine where I live. So I drove a total of 4 and a half hours to come and try this and it wasn't good. Meat no flavor. Not sanitary.

We went for our first time for restaurant week. We enjoyed our meal and it was an experience. Service was very good. Atmosphere was lovely and comfortable. I would suggest that you only take one piece at a time since there are many to choose from. We like our beef med rare and they accommodated us by bringing it to us. We found some of the meat to be dry. I would say the pork and chicken were dry. It was nice to also have salmon and shrimp. I was surprised to like the grilled pineapple. Not a fan of the grilled cheese. A bit hard. The only issue for us is that we parked at seaport village and the restaurant didn’t validate so we paid $24 for parking ouch.

The service was outstanding they even covered our sweaters on the back of the chairs so no food could possibly stain them. All the meats were fresh and juicy and the salad bar was fresh with plenty of choices. We went during restaurant week which saved us a bit of money but even at full price it is worth it.

Great food and service. Great variety in of meats. Matheus (pronounced Mateus) was very attentive. Waiter went ahead and put a new batch of filet mignon on the fire without even asking. Very courteous.

Really happy and satisfied customer here. All staff were great in their customer service skills. Anna our server was amazing and everyone who went to our table with the meat. Quality of meat was excellent. All food were fresh and delicious

Way too much great food, both on the buffet and on the skewers. The bread is insanely great. Highly suggest getting a dozen rolls to take home. One or two cuts of meat were cooked a touch heavier than I usually consume, I lean a bit to the rarer side, but the taste was phenomenal. Rodrigo took extra special care with us, as we were celebrating our anniversary. Always attentive and always informed. He went above and beyond to make our day special.
