Second time coming to this wonderful restaurant. Service was top notch and food was outstanding. Gumbo, baked oysters, and pork chop LaPlace are highly recommended (and I’m not a big pork chop person).

Excellent experience! Our server Bri was a professional. Didn’t rush us but let us know best way to keep our dinner on track. She was very attentive and checked frequently to make sure we had all that we needed. We always eat early when traveling as we eat breakfast and usually skip lunch due to enjoying our surroundings. Food was excellent my husband had gumbo and we shared the oyster appetizer. I had the roasted chicken and he had the pork chop. Both were excellent and a large amount of food. We have dined here 3 times. 2 out of 3 were excellent. Glad this restaurant is back to its original high standards of quality and customer service

Reservation was accommodated on time. Friendly servers. Very quick. Good vibe. Atmosphere was urban new orleans. Unfortunately the food was a disappointment. The fish dinner was inedible. Others sent theirs back. Filet was cooked well. We had the fish taken off the bill. There was no other service recovery. Maybe will return.

Bree was the manager as well as our waitress along with Josh…… they were absolutely incredible and made our dining experience incredibly memorable. If you don’t go here…… you lose! Make the time. You will not be disappointed.

Despite having reservations we had to wait at the reception station for a considerable period of time. Almost left. However, once we were greeted everything changed for the better…much better. The food was great and the service extremely friendly and accommodating. We’re writing the initial wait off as a glitch not likely to be repeated. The rest was the best of the quarter.

Not thrilled overall. Huge parties literally backing into our table for the first part of the dinner. Great waiter, not ours, was right to the rescue. Very little follow up service. Mai tai lacked anything close to the original and was just rum and grenadine. The steaks were admittedly fantastic. But when the bill came we were charged a gratuity automatically. Unusual for a party of 5 but clearly printed on the bottom of the menu. Problem: we were charged that gratuity on the $356 meal plus the $38 or so in tax. And when calculated was at over 22%. They immediately, if begrudgingly, removed it and permitted me to tip 20% on the meal and beverage costs. The wait staff was noticeably missing most of the night. I never like being told what I should tip, but being told what I must tip and then being gouged for more by basing it on food and taxes and at a higher percentage than demanded on the menu just isn’t ethical or fair. But the food was great. Sorry it was poorly received between loud insensitive parties and inappropriate mathematics.

The service was phenomenal - Debbie and Jada - and the complimentary cornbread was amazingly delicious. My Wagyu burger wasn't hot enough and slightly underdone for my taste, but they staff quickly remedied it. Limited vegetarian options for my husband. Not much around the restaurant, which is in the warehouse area of town.

The server Debbie was great-her suggestions for what to eat were spot on… and the bartender made good drinks. They were able to handle my gluten allergy well. Down side… no coffee or tea available to enjoy w their desert list and the white wines listed by the glass were unavailable … they lost out on coffee, tea, dessert and a glass of wine -30$ extra dollars on our tab. (That’s why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5) Other than that a great taste of New Orleans and service and food presentation well done…

Perfect evening at Galliano. Started with a smoked Old Fashion with baked oysters. My wife had a beet Salad which she said was the best salad ever. Entrees were cooked to perfection. Pork Chop LaPlace melted in my mouth. My wife had fish of the day Redfish. A great way to end our visit to NOLA. Can’t wait to return for more!!

Great food and good time. Joshua was a great waiter and took wonderful care of us. Smoked OF was really tasty and well done. Little bit on the expensive side all in all but not so much that I won’t return.

The service was phenomenal and the drinks were great. Unfortunately, the food left a bit to be desired. One of the appetizers we had, the crabmeat cheesecake, was room temperature. The other, Alligator bites, was good. For entrees, my party had the drum fish, pork chops Laplace, and a ribeye. The fish was good, pork chops cooked perfectly but the red beans and onion rings that came with weren't well seasoned, and the ribeye was not right. We were told the steaks there were ranked 16th in the country. The ribeye that came out initially was on a sizzling plate and was well done (requested a temp of medium). We sent the steak back and received a replacement on a cold plate that was extremely rare. Had that second steak come out on the sizzling plate, it would likely have been cooked perfectly. Overall, an ok experience but would likely not return. Major highlights was our server who was amazing, attentive, and entertaining. Oh and the cornbread was excellent. Other than that, just ok.

I’ve never experienced instructions to order my dinner repeatedly. We were prompted several times to order the entirety of our meal at once. No having a drink and an appetizer while looking over the menu. You order it all upfront. Period. Dining out should be a relaxing experience. Not so at Galliano’s.

I hosted a birthday dinner for my husband. The staff were so helpful and accommodating from helping me get balloons and a cake in early to increasing the size of our party at the last minute. Our server Joshua went above and beyond from offering recommendations to helping keep the party on track with great toasts. The food was excellent and the portions were more ample. Our night was spectacular and I could not have been more happy with how the party turned out. I can't wait to go back!

The food was great and the atmosphere nice and cozy. We especially appreciated the staff; friendly and helpful. We definitely plan to return when we visit the area again. We are already thinking of other dishes we want to try.

There are three factors for rating a restaurant. Food, Service and ambience. Value is the weight of all these together. This restaurant (our second visit) has good not great but good food. Service is mediocre at best, with an overly loquacious server and slovenly follow up. Ambiance was driven by large tables of guests who absorbed the attention and service capabilities. We will not return.
