Food was great and the Mr Chen’s Beef Noodle bowl and Duck Tacos standout dishes! Cherry blossom cocktail was lovely and not too sweet for me. Service was pretty meh from the host to servers, all seemed pretty disinterested in serving us or providing good hospitality. Took 30 minutes to get water for the table and to order. Server forgot one of our ordered items, they did take care of that on the bill which was appreciated. Also took 30 minutes to pay our bill; table was cleared and no other drink or dessert options offered but bill also not provided. So we sat at a cleared table waiting for our server to realize there was nothing on the table and that we asked to pay.

Service was amazing. A little confusing on the menu as we had never been there before. Our waitress was helpful and loved the food we got but would have liked a noodle bowl and perhaps not a soup although it was very good. We loved the ambiance it was fun. Overall it was lovely and I would recommend everyone going to try this out.

It was a a little difficult to find the very obvious front entrance. The lobby was incredible and fantastic and the layout, ambiance and layout was great. The food was absolutely mouthwatering. We tried the soup dumplings, a couple other appies as well as the bao buns. If I was to change anything I would not fill up on the bao buns. It’s not that they were bad or anything, we just ordered too much food. The Mr Chen’s soup was absolutely incredible. The noodles were cooked perfect and the beef was so tender and delicious. The prices were a little steep that said the value was fair for the food flavours and the dining experience.

This was our second visit to Fu’ Repair Shop and we brought friends. Like me on my first time they were skeptical about the rave reviews. Also like me they were quite happy with the flavours and textures of the dishes we ordered. My favourite this time was the Kimchi Stew. Wonderful.

First time for us at Fu’s and was not disappointed. Loved the cool speakeasy hidden entrance into a wonderful dining space and trendy/hipster vibe with traditional aspects of eastern Asian dining. Service was great - attentive and knowledgeable without being over earning. Food - quantities, presentation, and flavour were all top notch and price tag was reasonable as well. Also loved the selection of speciality cocktails and desserts. Will definitely repeat.

The food was great and the drinks were excellent. The green onion cakes were a revelation…so delicious! The Shanghai noodles were a stand out!

Took my husband there for his birthday. Drinks were very tasty ( cherry blossom & fist full of fu). Had the salt and pepper wings to start. Delicious. Only half of my husbands main meal came out, server forgot to ring in the second part. I ordered the beef noodle bowl, and requested no cilantro. It came covered in cilantro. Overall, very disappointed.

Solid fare, friendly service, nice casual atmosphere. Kansai Mess for dessert was a highlight.

We unfortunately had a very bad experience. My sister has a three month old baby and they wouldn’t let us in the restaurant because no minors allowed. The baby was strapped to her stomach and sleeping so it doesn’t really make sense to treat this baby as a minor. Never had this kind of experience before.

The food was delicious. Took a while for us to get served when we first sat down. Music was a bit loud but great atmosphere otherwise!

Chairs were really wobbly. Made me not enjoy my time at the restaurant. Food and drinks and service were great.

After several recommendations, we tried this place and were disappointed. It was mostly gimmicks, with mediocre food.

Everything was great. Pretty sure we ordered one of everything and it was all amazing. The setting and ambience is really neat too. Can’t wait to come back. Wish you were opened for lunch!

Great spot! Love the fusion of cuisines. Very innovative and intriguing menu. Cocktails were on point! Overall a super trendy spot and the staff are amazing! We have been here before and had the same experience as last, and as an industry person, I can honestly say that is a good indicator of a great kitchen and service team!

The service, food (a little spicier than I thought it would be, but still good, and place was excellent. While the people on the email were good, overall, it took a period of about 3 weeks to make the big group reservation I wanted since there is no phone number. That was annoying because it could have been done in a couple of minutes over the phone. But other that that it was good.

The room has great personality, but the food is totally forgettable. The Siu Mai was pretty basic and lacked depth in flavour. The only thing keeping the pork wontons in chili oil alive was the bit of heat in the oil. The duck tacos were a waste of time, requiring the patron to shred the duck and somehow try to portion out a plate of random condiments with limp and lifeless wrappers. "Tacos" indeed. The only saving grace was the peachy shrimp. I would have rather eaten a couple plates of those than anything else we were served. The room is handled by shared service, so expect to have multiple staff helping you-- which is fine, but when you're being QC'd by four different people within minutes of each other, it can be overbearing.

Two of the meals were really substandard. They were one note flavours with no real variation. I think it was crazy rich rice noodles. We had it with tofu and one dish had a lot of tofu while the other portion had little. It also said that there were chickpeas in it and I think I found three. We had a reservation for three and were placed at a table right by the door. Please value those who make reservations with better seating. The place was almost empty when we got there at 5:30. Surely we could have received better seating?

Very unique place to dine. Food was great! Lots of small plate selections to share. Service was superb and timely. Great place for date night or as a group. Highly recommend this place. We will be back!
