Food was perfection! As well as customer service, overall experience and atmosphere. Hands down my favorite go to Sushi spot. Just wish there was another location closer to me. I would be there at least 3 times every week.

Absolutely wonderful experience. The food was divine! Possibly the best sushi I’ve had in years. The bartender was excellent, and our waitstaff was extremely attentive. We went for our anniversary and my partner wants to make this a yearly tradition.

Always excellent service by friendly staff. The food is well presented, fresh and very flavorful. It’s fun to try new items and the staff is always ready to explain the ingredients. A great spot!

Had lobster tempura. Ok but not a lot of batter on it. Also thought I was getting a hold one but wife and I only served half. Had better. Teriyaki was good. Servers nice. May or may not come back.

We always enjoy our meal at Fujiya. The service is excellent, the food terrific and the fun is trying something new. When in doubt, the staff is happy to explain all the components of the item.

It was a very welcoming open space. Service was great (10/10) and I do recommend reserving a table if you plan on going pass 7. It did get a little noisy but not I'm a bad way, I'm just sensitive to sound. Sushi was delicious and I have no complaints. It was so good!

It was our first time and we decided to try it out for our wedding anniversary lunch date and we thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, the food, and the service. We'll definitely come back again!

The portions are smaller than the other Japanese restaurants in the area. The food quality is good, the plates are beautiful and the food visuals pretty. Not sure if I’ll be back though.

It was busy just before 6PM. There were people waiting for tables but the hostess said we could eat at the bar and so we did. Many of the workers still wear masks but some do not if you were wondering. One of the owners is there every time we have been there. This time the male. It was hot sine the bar is by the front door. They have blinds but the heat still makes it in. The waitress and waiter made sure we always had our glasses full of water. So thoughtful. I got the Makiri sake , it was dry and I really liked it. 18 bucks for the bottle. You get to pick your sake glass from their many glasses. I picked a very unique glass. The waiter set a small bowl in front of us with a white tablet looking item in the middle. He poured hot water in it and it was a hot towel. Very cool and refreshing. We started out with the salmon poke. Oh so yummy love it. Then the truffle hamachi wow loved it so fresh. The Sakura roll was amazing and the Osaka to. We really like the food here. The fish is always so fresh and yummy.

Our favorite restaurant in Elk Grove! Oysters, nigiri, Sakura roll. We don’t usually order dessert but this time added green tea ice cream and cheesecake. Mmmmm.

Our new favorite sushi restaurant! I had been once before with a girlfriend and loved it. Took my husband for our Anniversary dinner. We had the truffle hamachi appetizer (my favorite), sashimi moriawase, and a Venus roll. The food was delicious (very clean and fresh) and the staff extremely attentive - some of the best service we have had in years. They surprised us with a slice of black sesame cheesecake to celebrate the evening.

I took my girlfriend here for Valentine’s Day, we had a 7pm reservation. We did not get seated until 7:15 and there wasn’t a table available even though I selected that option, we were seated at the bar. We ordered 3 sushi rolls, oysters, gyoza, and a miso soup. It took 30 mins for the gyoza to come out and over an hour for our sushi rolls. A man came in after we had already been in the restaurant for over an hour and he ordered ramen and one sushi roll and both his items came out before our rolls. They made the excuse that it was busy because of Valentine’s Day but there was no delay for the gentleman next to us. The food was good but it was not worth the wait.

Fujiya is without a doubt the best restaurant in Elk Grove. Nice, yet informal. The staff are all excellent. The fresh nigiri is the best I've had outside Japan.

I found out about this place from instagram. I am not a total sushi guru but the salmon and tuna nigiri and rolls were fantastic. I love chicken teriyaki so this full grown dad of 4 ordered a chicken teriyaki from the kids menu and they didn't even give it a 2nd thought.. Whew. I would recommend this place to everyone..
