Welcome to Frida’s and Bonito Bar. We are one of the area's most seasoned healthy restaurants. We pride ourselves serving plant-forward pescatarian and Californian cuisine. We invite you for lunch or dinner with friends and loved ones. After ten years, we have over 30 accolades including Top 100 Restaurants in St. Louis, A-List Chef/Owner, A-List Restaurant, Best Vegetarian and Best Non-Beef Burger by St. Louis Magazine, Feast and RFT.

Our bar and cocktail lounge serves house and classic cocktails, low ABV and fresh mocktails. We also provide a late night snack menu. We are located in a quaint neighborhood setting in North Clayton / University City. Pet friendly / outdoor dining available. Bar is first come first serve.

We loved both the Easter and Mother’s Day buffet and wish it was available every Sunday!

Not impressed with the new menu. Hummus and the Harvest salad with goat cheese was amazing and is no longer available. Service was so slow. Spent over 2 hours on dinner and did not order anything complex. Would be nice to have a California cab option at a California themed restaurant.

It was our first time at Frida’s it was absolutely amazing the vegan options were perfect. We will definitely be back.

Cool atmosphere and decor with West Coast vibe. Friendly weight staff with speedy service, even though they were busy. Lots of energy in the restaurant for Thursday evening. I would highly recommend the Harvest Salad with goat cheese as well as the hummus. My only recommendation would be to have more wine choices by the glass which would include at least one California Cab.

Absolutely amazing waiters and waitresses here. the bartender is wonderful as well!! Had a great experience and I recommend to literally every friend I meet. So happy you guys don’t use garlic!! 💗💗

Interesting California-style combo menu. Vegan dishes, Mediterranean dishes and Meat dishes. 2nd. time here had one of the best burgers in my life.

Lia was our server the meal was great. I had the shrimp with the angel hair pasta it was divine thank you I will be back.

Healthy and very flavorful menu. If you’re on a low Sat fat diet, even better. EVOO instead of butter, tasty meet substitutes and plenty of fish. Bartender also makes excellent cocktails by request.
