Good food, service and atmosphere! Enjoyed eating here and walking to the Geffen theatre! Frida should offer Geffen Theatre discount to increase sales!

The restaurant is conveniently located, but of course in Westwood, parking is always a challenge. It's a nice restaurant and kept well, but the lighting was a bit bright for my liking. I started with an order of a veggie taco and it was a corn tortilla filled with corn and shredded carrots. I believe it was fresh corn, but no seasoning and no real veggies. I would think a veggie taco would have zucchini, onions and peppers. Something with flavor. The server, Ephraim was amazing and understood so brought me a mushroom taco which was basically steamed mushrooms with little flavor. Very disappointing. On the other hand, the cauliflower taco was tasty. It seems that cooking for vegetarians or vegans is low on the priority list. It's not that difficult to make good tasting taco. Especially if you're going to charge $9 plus. That is just way too overpriced. My friend enjoyed his chicken fajitas though so there's that. Service was the one salvation, Ephraim was attentive, friendly and helpful. He was great! Not sure I would go back, unless it was for appetizers only. I also would suggest adding non-alcoholic beers and/or mocktails for those that aren't drinking. Many restaurants are adopting that idea.

The ribeye tacos were extremely overcooked. The guacamole was very bland. The beans were dry. I would not return.

I would not recommend this restaurant. The food is 3 on a scale from 1 to 10. We had nachos w/chicken, steak tacos and enchiladas. The chips were ok, the salsa was not good. The water jalapeño margarita was ok. The service ok, not good.

A lovely dining experience at the Frida Mexican Cuisine in Westwood for a Valentine's Day evening. The cocktails were excellent, opting for the Frida & Diego spicy Mezcalito, and the Signature craft Margarita. We dined on chips, salsa, and guacamole, and between the two of us shared the tres enchiladas with Mole, chicken, green, and poblano sauces. This was more than enough for two, and we left with full bellies.

It’s fine. Nothing special. My Chile reano was as bland as possible. As I said, it’s fine but I’m not rushing back. Service was off. Long wait for someone to come.

Did you know that you can ask for their mole negra in any meal. I had the Frida burrito with mole negra. It may be the best mole negra in all of Los Angeles.
