The Freshie Taproom is a bright, beachy space right in the heart of the Brookie brewery scene. Good vibes and natural wines compliment a light and fresh Mexican inspired menu. Sit in our sunny front yard and enjoy an award winning crisp lager with our famous fish finger sando. Or grab some pork or veggie tacos and a watermelon margie. Chilled live music and DJs. Need more staff, and the staff need to know what they are doing. The line around the bar got too unmanageable and the var staff were all over the place

Great venue with great beer and food and they also have a fantastic area down the back for the kids to play. Unfortunately, the night we were there they had a schedule change, not the acoustic singer song writer we were expecting but a very loud 4-piece band that played hard and loud while we tried to eat dinner and chat. The band kicked off at 6pm right on dinner time with the kids, it was too loud, they could have started a little later, 7pm which is the time I was told they would start when we sat down. They were a good band though just a little loud for 6pm. Overall, I will be back, I'll just make sure I either book a table down back near the kids' area or get there and eat earlier so we can leave with the kids if it gets too loud. It would have been perfect if the original acoustic singer was on though.

Freshwater Brewery is a wonderful venue with great food and atmosphere but no fans or aircon. This meant the perspiration was dripping off us as we tried to enjoy our family birthday celebration in what felt like 35C. The outside temp was only 24C . Having big industrial fans would make this a 4 star venue. Totally recommend this venue, just not on a hot day. Once we moved our table to one that was outside with a breeze we enjoyed more.

We had a few hiccups with our order, but the team there were extremely apologetic and refunded our meals. Service is fantastic and the food was tasty. Good selection of drinks (except I would recommend a standard sprite type lemonade, not the traditional as many kids dont like that). Would come again for sure.

It was overall great. Good value for money and good drink options. The food was yum but a little dry. Needed sauces or condiments or more guacamole.

Despite reserving a table for 2 in significant advance we arrived to a completely packed out brewery with no tables for our allocated time. They then created a make shift table by putting 2 bar stools at the bar with 30+ people standing next to us waiting to order their drinks. We left straight away.

Not a large menu, we all had chicken or beef burgers which were excellent. The venue is big, light and bright and the entertainment was great, but felt sorry for her as hardly anyone there. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Our group was divided on 2 tables and also the tables were in the entry/ exit area and right next to a large group on a standing table so it felt squashed and disjointed. The food and beverages were nice and at a comparable price to other breweries in the area.

We enjoyed a relaxing Sunday lunch with the family (including our dog). The burgers were yummy and the chips the best I've had in a very long time. Freshwater Brewing Co had a relaxed beach vibe. I'm definitely coming back.

Had a fun night watching and cheering for the Matildas on the big screen, great atmosphere. Burgers were big and juicy and thank you for the decent wine selection for non beer drinkers. Love the décor at Freshwater Brewing, prettiest brewery I've been to :)

A great place to catch up with friends and family. Great food and nice cocktails too! Had a great time here. Only recommendation would be an area with some lounges instead of the metal chairs as a spot to relax in. But overall will be back again soon.

We had a splendid Mother’s Day, 3 mums, 3 dads and 4 little critters. Food was super! Atmosphere was brilliant and the kids loved playing in the kids zone and dancing to the dj’s cruisy tunes.

The waiter did a good job of organising our refund, once they realised they had taken 100 food orders for a comedy night and had no way of getting all the orders cooked. A heads up when ordering would have been nice. I booked this as I’m AF as you progressively actually had two AF beers on the menu. Somehow they were the only drinks not in stock so I was able to order a $4 sparkling water instead. Really average and disappointing outcome

Love Freshies - second weekend in a row there. It’s got a peaceful and happy vibe. We had lunch - veggie burger and veggie skewers were great. Duke’s Pilsener was excellent. The staff are all absolutely perfect . They make it a really welcoming place. Didn’t think it would be any different to the million other breweries in Brookvale but it is and it’s the best.
