This was a great dinner spot! The food was pretty good (not the best I’ve had, but 4 out of 5 ain’t bad), the server was really sweet and checked with the kitchen to make sure all of my allergies could be accommodated, and the overall experience was really lovely! I’d come back, for sure!

Food was excellent, so was waitress but she got busy and it slowed down service. A family with loud kids and inattentive parents made it less than ideal.

Ambience was great, the restaurant is beautiful and staff was very attentive. Great menu. Ordered the best salad (amazing!) and the capellini alla checca was fabulous.

We had dinner there on Valentine's Day. We actually went there for the first time since we lived in the North County in mid-2000s, even though our server told us the restaurant has been in business for 15 years. I think it is a hidden gem mainly because most people, including us, have never expected such a good restaurant located in a plaza in the middle of "mostly nowhere". The seafood pasta, lasagna, and the branzino were all high-quality cooked, not being made in a "mass production" way that we usually experienced in the chain restaurant. The atmosphere was ambient and we are also glad we sat at a booth table just at the corner, allowing us to not only enjoy the ambience and the outside view through the window but also maintain our own privacy.

The only issue I had was I booked an 8:15 dinner and they were pushing to close at 9 which I was never told. I understand people want to get back to their families but best to be advised in advance.

I understand it was Christmas Eve, and they were a little busy. The waiter took our order and didn’t come back till we were done. Someone else brought the food, the waiter didnt check on us or I would’ve complained and sent my food back. I got the shrimp and the sauce was a bitter lemon starch combination. we didn’t receive water refills… just an all-around bummer. Our bill was $175. You would think for that amount of money they would have someone filling our waters, checking on us, etc…

Great dinner out with my husband and mother in law. The Veal scallopini was fantastic, great Ceasar salad and my husband loved the Spaghetti with meat sauce and meat balls. Large portions, reasonable prices, nice wine selection and craft cocktails!

Fresco continues to deliver on its reputation for a wonderful dining experience! Ours meals, including appetizer and a new version of tiramisu were filled with flavor! Plated presentation is also always a plus. For years we have enjoyed this restaurant & we drive miles to get there. Worth the trip!

We had a group of 14 people celebrating a 90 year old birthday. The restaurant was top notch in every aspect. The service was impeccable and the food never disappoints here. We are regular customers and will continue to return. It feels like you stepped into a European restaurant.

Our server Linda was exceptional! We were celebrating our granddaughter’s 6th birthday and she was spectacular with her. For dessert she suggested that we try the butternut squash cheesecake and it was wonderful!

It was hot!!! The manager stated in his heavy accent, there is nothing I can do except move us to another table? $300 for a dinner and being so hot I had to fan myself is not cool, pun intended. We went early for happy hour and was told that it is only available in the bar but was not posted on their website. We did not want the bar atmosphere so we asked if we could order a pizza from the happy hour menu (cuz it was not on the regular menu) at the regular price to be told NO! The manager is strict and does not make exceptions. So confusing because we wanted a pizza they make and was willing to pay regular pricing??? WTH? Ran out of oil and bread and only bread was brought back, had to ask for oil. The scallops were under cooked. The Risotto special hardly had any lemon flavor, had to ask for a lemon wedge and received a weirdly cut shape half of a lemon that had tons of seeds. Had to ask for each special, was not offered nor was she clear on what they were. I could go on about the server but maybe something bad happened to her and she was not on her A game. She did get me a side a veges added to my meal, very nice of her. They did come sing happy birthday (that was awesome) but the cannoli was horrible. The drinks were amazing! But will not go back.

We ate outside this Friday night. It was comfortable and less noise than inside seating. The server Lylah was a delight and the food was excellent. We had the Pollo Parmigiana and Salmon Fresco as well as the Strawberry and Insalata do Noci salads. We will return again next year when we are in town for our annual trek to Escondido.

We took our daughter for her birthday. We felt very rushed from the moment we sat down. No water refill. 2 bread baskets was not enough for 10 people. Dinner came within 5 minutes of ordering. Food was excellent except for the chicken parmigiana was dry and over cooked. Waitrr disappeared after he took our food order and we had to ask another waiter for dessert. Disappointed.

We had a group of 30 people. We had a large that worked well and our group really enjoyed our evening. The service was excellent. Prices are moderate. Several people had never eaten here, and everyone enjoyed our experence.

Went to Fresco Grill to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The lasagna was wonderful and the gluten free options were good (for my wife). Our waitress was very courteous and attentive and the owner came over to check on us as well. Will definitely come back.

Went for their happy hour. Had a great time. Our waiter was the best: friendly, efficient, personable. Happy hour menu offered good choices and good value.

The scallops in lobster sauce were excellent! Also ordered the fish special which was Halibut with ravioli. The ravioli was amazing, only complaint was the fish was drowning in sauce. But the flavors were great. Also had the pork shank osso bucco with pasta which was very good, but would have been better over risotto. (Personal preference) Definitely a nice date night spot.
