Came for a birthday dinner. Had Perúvian ceviche, strawberry salad and mezcal cocktail. Everything was delicious. Staff was attentive and friendly.

The outdoor seating is terrific, especially on a warm night. The menu is definitely inventive! From the octopus to the meatballs to the fresh chips and guac - we filled up on appetizers. The whole fish was excellent. A grilled pork special was good, not great. Overall, a super solid option in the Carlsbad Village.

Food: Amazing!!! We had whole snapper w/ yucca fries and maduros. Drinks: Guava Mojito. Dessert: Passionfruit Creme Brulee Service: I cannot thank Emma for her impeccable attention to detail. She knew the menu inside and out. We enjoyed our food with outstanding service. Decor: Love to see the live plants hanging and, the spacious beachy feel of the restaurant.

The service, from being greeted by the hostess to when we walked out the door was fabulous. Matt, our server was super friendly and professional and went the extra mile to make the evening a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We were lucky to meet Travis, the chef, who we complimented on his great menu choices. We'll be back!!

This was our first visit. Our waiter Matt was cheerful, friendly & efficient. He gave a thorough description of the dishes we were selecting and the meal was terrific. The Latin fusion food was exciting and different. We will return.

We had a great time and a great waiter, but our food took a really long time to be served to us. (People came in after us, ordered at the same time, received their food, ate it and left before we got our food) I know it was Mother’s Day, but a little something like a free desert would have been nice.
