Was very nice, tasty and service great! The place looks very nice but the kitchen is right inside the restaurant and the blowers were not strong enough to pull all the smoke and smell out. Our clothes and hair smelled after we left the place. That was the only bad thing about this place. There is an area in the back of the restaurant, it’s like a green room, I think it’s a better place to sit in so you don’t smell!!

Food and service were very good. Presentation on all the dishes was considerate and showcased fresh ingredients. Drinks and service were pleasant. Chicken dish could have used a bit more flavor/salt in the chicken and aligot. To me, the aligot was more similar to mashed potatoes. Would think there needs to be much more cheese for it to be aligot but that’s just my take.

We had a Mother’s Day brunch at Frenchie’s on Tremont st in Boston. 1.The wait staff: they were kind, friendly and super attentive when I tell you they were on point they were on point. This is a tiny little restaurant and they make things happen. Every time they was an extra plate they would come and take it away from the table. They would come and check and see if we wanted more coffee and needed anything else. They were so well trained gold star for everyone there. 2.the Food: OK so a half dozen of oysters we also got the bread and jam and the most darling charcuterie that we were all able to share with the cutest little crispy baguette circles! The steak and eggs, the French toast and coffee were great! My little one had a lovely mock tail they prepared it was so sweet and delicious and refreshing We also got the crème brûlée to die for and they also compt up a lovely little chocolate mousse!! Please go and have a great time! The food and staff made my brunch delightful! We laughed and enjoyed chatting about the food and service! 5 stars in my opinion!

Though we sat in the back room with a lovely view of the garden, tables were tight and a baby was crying through a portion of the meal. Service was good, and so were the cocktails - but there seemed to be a bit too much of creamy sauces - the octopus did not pair well with a sweetish yogurt sauce and the duck was not well served by another creamy sauce of undetermined origin. Was listed on the menu as a black cherry sauce which we assumed would be an au jeu type of thing! So we were sauced out! Overall a nice place with good food.

I went to Frenchie with two friends and we all had outstanding meals. One friend has dairy issues and the staff were totally accommodating. The service was friendly and prompt. We loved it and will ben back soon!

I had a salad with peaches in it and it tasted like the peaches were out of a can. My daughter had salmon and although it was decent it was overpriced.

Cute sunroom. Great coffee. Potatoes were also good. Unfortunately, the mushroom buckwheat crepe was so bland. I had to ask for salt and pepper and even that didn’t help much. The French toast was pretty average - the bread was cut quite thin and even the berries tasted like they were frozen. The “local Vermont butter” came out very cold so it was hard to spread on the bread. Really wanted to like this place but unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations.

This is a great neighborhood restaurant. Service is attentive not overbearing, atmosphere is friendly and the food is creative French. The arugula salad was a very good and large enough to share or could be a dinner with protein. Both the duck dish and salmon were very tasty

I have been to this place a few times now, dont think will ever go back. The noise level is unbelievable… me and my friend been sitting at the tiny table across from each other and had to yell so we could hear each other. The food is not the best for this price.

Kevin and his team were very welcoming, hospitable, and a pleasure to be with. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the food was served quickly, and was absolutely fantastic. 5* all around!!

I love Brunch at Frenchie. The menu choices are excellent and the food delicious. Our servers were attentive and friendly. My food was good and my companion seemed to enjoy his. The only downside was that it was very noisy. So, a great choice but not if you want a quiet, intimate setting.

We went for brunch with our 9 year old. We got 2 spicy bloody Mary’s, highly recommended, and the steak tartare. I do wish it came with 6 chips not 4. Our server steered me to the croque madame over the beouf benidict, it was one of the best I’ve ever had in my life. We had crème brûlée a Negroni and an espresso martini. Can’t wait to go back at night for the escargot.

Every dish we ordered was presented beautifully. Upon first bite of every dish we exclaimed OMG.. THIS IS Delicious! Each dish was flavorful and had great texture. Such an experience of senses!

My friend and I came her for brunch on a Sunday. It was busy but we were still able to hear each other and enjoy our food! We shared the Duck confit hash and the Nutella crepes and we both got the Limoncello Spritz ! My new favorite spot!

Had a pretty good experience! Our waiter was delightful and friendly, the french fries were the perfect fun little snack, and the wine was crisp and tasty. It got a little loud at times, but as to be expected in a small busy space. The vibe was great and I’d definitely come back!

We booked for three people but were given a table for two, which was far too small. It felt really cramped. They also have this ridiculous rule that you cannot sit down at your table until all the guests have arrived. Which, when you have to wait outside in the cold is anything but pleasant. The food was mediocre. The waitress brought our cheque before we asked for it, when in fact, we wanted to order a dessert. Safe to say we didn’t bother.

I took my partner here for his birthday and we were very pleased. I was nervous right off the bat because our table wasn’t ready until about 30 minutes after our reservation time, but the staff was very kind and brought us drinks and an appetizer as we waited at the bar. Service was great when we sat down (thanks, Frank!) and the food was delicious. We enjoyed the brussel sprouts, French onion soup, escargot toast, steak frites, the duck, and the croissant bread pudding. All were delicious! We would come back easily.

Room is very pleasant and lively but really noisy. Was fine for us but some may struggle if that is an issue. Food is great, especially the duck! Wine list is good too. Frank, our waiter, was engaging and knowledgable, a real pleasure. Supporting staff was gracious and attentive. We will definitely be back!

Fond memories of this place and its evolution over the years even recalling one dinner when Julia Childs was dining one table over. Great and delightful server. Food was good. Portions good. Delicious drinks and crème brûlée. We were seated in the extension at the back which is my favorite but it is very noisy and could do with some noise dampening. I must admit, our table of three likely were the most raucous.

The experience and atmosphere of the place were great. It reminded me of Paris in the fall, which I loved. The food was delicious. The coffee was strong but still loved it. I will definitely go back to try their dinner menu.

I would recommend dining at The Beehive or Barcelona Wine Bar across the street. The menu at Frenchie has a good selection, but the food was subpar. Also, Frenchie is very small in size, and since the kitchen is situated in the dining area it doesn’t make the best atmosphere.

Food was salty and oniony. Menu isn't as advertised (missing items). Tables were very close together; we are ok with that as long as it isn't a date night without the children and we're seated next to a family with young children.

My husband and I had our ever first experience at Frenchies on Valentines. It was an incredibly memorable time - the food, service, atmosphere... the whole package. The team, especially our server Frank, was attentive to our needs. Food was amazing and cooked perfectly to our recommendations. The restaurant scene was vibrant, fancy, but at the same time casual. Although seating between tables were a bit "cozy," diners respected each others' space and no issues arose during the time we dined there. My husband and I are already planning our next "date night with the kids" at this venue.
