Our first time in and it was lovely. Enjoyed the creative cuisine. I had the scallops with huckleberry gaze and my hubby had the filet topped w/blue cheese. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely return!

A very enjoyable dining experience. The menu was excellent. Our server Hollister was exceptional.

Our server, and food was fabulous!! We shared the tomahawk, and had mint juleps… 10/10! They say the tomahawk is for 2 people, I believe 4 could share it…

Fantastic spot to eat! The food was cooked to perfection and very, very good. We had a toddler with us, so we took turns walking him around the restaurant. Everyone on staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The best service we could have asked for. Friendly, clean and great staff. I highly recommend FreeStone!

So many missteps here. First they wanted to charge me the full side add on price swap a sweet potato for the mashed potatoes (I get an up charge if I choose something more expensive but both were the same price as a side!). Food took forever to arrive. My ‘10oz’ steak was 5oz at most and although ordered medium was cooked well done to within an inch of being leather like. And that sweet potato they wanted to charge me $8 for? Brunt to a crisp. Our waitress tried to get another one but was told they were all like that. !? Honestly they seemed solely focused on us reordering another round of drinks. The manager did apologize for the potato being burnt and did take off the ridiculous extra charge for substituting it and did offer to comp our dessert so kudos to her for trying to salvage a disastrous dinner. But for what we got it was waaaay overpriced and we won’t be back anytime soon.

It is always disappointing when we miss our marks on our steps of service. Unfortunately for your experience there was not much we could do to rectify the situation and we deeply apologize for the unsatisfactory experience your party endured. Your experience and honest feedback will play a big part in future training for our staff and we will learn and grow to make sure this does not happen to any of our guest. Unfortunately we missed our chance to show your party what we are all about but we are hopeful that this does not happen again in the future. We truly hope you have a change of heart and decide to give us a second chance to make your experience a more pleasant and memorable one. Thank you again for the honest feedback.

Our host Wendy was so incredibly friendly and kind. She was very knowledgeable. The food was wonderful. The drinks were great. the special was a pheasant and it was absolutely delicious.. The yak burger from the bar was something different but I had never tried and I would absolutely order again. Dessert was to die for. The Jamison toffee pudding was great and sorbet was a light dessert. Everything was seriously wonderful.!

Nathan took great care of us. Beautiful warm bread and roasted garlic with Genesis Kitchen oil and vinegar. Mission Fig and Apple salad to start. My husband had the 14oz Ribeye, I enjoyed Branzino. Nice find on OpenTable. We have been supporting them for years. We live in Whitefish…. Thought it was crazy that a customer thought it was expensive. Totally worth the drive in a Winter night.
