    Service was so bad… I usually don’t write about anything but our waiter was very slow and it wasnt busy at all. He greeted other tables that sat after us way before and their table got food earlier… mind you, we were only a table of 4…

    Great service from the staff and made us feel welcoming. The restaurant had good ambience and great place for a large party

    Super bizarre experience. We showed on time for our reservation. There were only a few people in the restaurant or on the patio. We were sat outside. Our waitress was standing in the front of the restaurant when the hostess greeted us and sat us. Twenty minutes later the waitress comes to the table to explain that their computer system was down. She says that instead of thirty minutes to get our food it will take an hour since everything was manual. She said it took longer to walk up the stairs and give our order to the kitchen. She then left. So we left… LoL Not sure why it takes 2x as long to go up some stairs or why they didn’t share this news when we walked in but it seemed like our best option was to leave. :) We won’t be going back to founding farmers. Mostly because it had a bad vibe and the waitress seemed annoyed by our presence.

    We enjoy Founding Farmers and it is always a treat. I do find the indoor dining to be too loud. Perhaps acoustic tiles would help. I enjoy dining on the patio and try to get a shaded table. For the summer, umbrellas might be appreciated to extend the alfresco season.

    This may seem minor, but we had a large party and at the end were told that our parking did not need to be validated since the garage machine was down. This ended not being true, and everyone in our party had to pay the parking fee on the way out. Again, not the end of the world, but after a several hundred dollar meal, not the way we wanted to end after we were told something that wasn't true.

    We ate outside where there was a live tribute band to Bruce Springsteen playing. It was loud of course but the energy was great.

    Founding Farmers is generally a great place with great food, drinks and atmosphere. We went here for our daughter's graduation and couldn't have been happier with the experience. The menu could benefit greatly from a few vegan options, but the food itself is quite good, and the drinks are outstanding.

    The bread we ordered for an appetizer was stale, due to a mix up in delivering our order to us, they served our dinner to another patron. We waited over an hour and a half for our meals. The chicken was tasteless which surprised us both. We had to chase the waiter down to order our “free desserts “ given to us by a manager for the mix-up with our order. I couldn’t eat my dessert at home (blueberry pie), my mother had chocolate cheesecake which she did like. The waiter was unprofessional after the manager told us of the mix-up with our food and said “well you know now you can’t blame me.” I used to love this restaurant. We are NEVER going back
