Maybe it was an off day but it was just very underwhelming. The food was okay. Nothing spectacular especially for the price. Seems like everyone in our party had something they didn't like about their plate. Service was subpar. We hardly saw our waitress so it took forever getting basic items that we needed to be able to dine. Maybe she had too many tables to cover so we appreciate her for trying. The restaurant came with such high recommendations from friends and coworkers but to me, it was a bit of a let down. It's a gorgeous restaurant though in a great location. Would I try it again? Maybe if I was going with a group or for an event. Not in a rush to try it again any time soon though.

Clearly a busy Memorial Day, however, when we spoke with the on-point Manager (she was DELIGHTFUL) about finding a booth because we were with my dad - a senior w/significant hearing loss- she immediately made an accommodation and everyone was friendly and helpful. 🙌🤗 Our waiter (Nick, a Navy veteran) was engaging, and ensured we did not feel hurried throughout the course of our brunch. It was a very good experience. Thank you to all!

I was so excited when I saw this place was remodeling the bar area. I thought for sure the host stand area would also be reconfigured to address the constant traffic snarl. But nope! It’s somehow worse than before. Since the check in experience sets the tone for the visit I am shocked at how consistently terrible it is.

Sadly, I was disappointed with my recent visit because of the service at the front desk and the amount of time I had to wait to be seated for my reservation. I love this location, the food is amazing, and our waitress Sky is the only person I want serving me going forward. She was phenomenal! The food is always fresh and seasoned well. I brought a group of friends from Buffalo, NY to enjoy brunch-life in DC and immediately I thought of Farmers, Fishers, and Bakers. We arrived on time and was told that our table would be ready in 5-10 minutes, 45 minutes later our table was ready without any apologizes or empathy for our wait time. I've never been to one of the Farmer's restaurants and had to wait more than 5 minutes past my reservation time. Again, great food! Food was truly delicious, service was also attentive in spite of a very busy restaurant. My main critique is regarding my wait time for our table. Granted, our reservation was on a Sunday on a holiday weekend, nevertheless we waited 45 minutes for our table. Other people waited a long time in spite of reservation as well. Would simply advise taking this into account when making your reservation. Otherwise, I truly believe the brunch buffet is a fantastic value! Enjoy!
