Forty Dean Street is the pinnacle of affordable Italian cuisine in busy Soho. We are a small, family run restaurant dedicated to providing incredible food at incredible prices. Our set menu boasts a variety of sensational dishes built around fresh, seasonal produce and has customers coming back on a daily basis. Our à la carte menu is a favourite with our regulars, the media crowd and tourists alike.
Italian food has been served at Forty Dean Street for more than 17 years, so we like to think there’s nothing we haven’t mastered. So pop in for an Aperol Spritz!

The food here was excellent. Staff were very attentive throughout our dining experience. The restaurant is very cosy and the tables are very close together but not so close that you can't have your own conversation. Toilets were clean and the atmosphere in the restaurant is buzzing. The noise gets louder as the night progresses. We had an early dinner as we were going out afterwards and it was very quiet around 4pm but when we left at 6.45pm the restaurant was in full swing. Perfect restaurant to have a meal with friends or a romantic date. I would recommend this little gem in Soho and I will definitely be going back.

Good food and restaurant week bonus of a glass of bubbly however the waitress unnecessarily rushed us to order, etc. which just felt uncomfortable. Pity as it's one of my favourite restaurants in London

6 of us went pre theatre. Fabulous restaurant. Lovely staff and delicious food. Will definitely return to enjoy a more leisurely meal.

Once again Forty Dean Street did not disappoint. Great service, melt in the mouth pasta and really buzzy atmosphere.

Food was great, was recommended the seafood linguine (I generally try to avoid seafood in touristy parts of town), but this was plentiful and the pasta was home made which was perfect! The courgette flower and pistachio tiramisu were really good also. Service was mostly attentive, but welcoming, although it was busy and we did find ourselves having to try and make eye contact to track them down at times. We were also sat next to the dumb waiter which was quite noisy. The aesthetic was cosy, however it can be quite loud in there if you’re trying to have a conversation. Overall, food was great and would totally recommend if you’re after some decent authentic Italian in this part of town.

Absolutely fantastic food and lovely place. Service was great and we had a lovely lunch. It got busy and therefore a little noisy but a wonderful place with outstanding food.

Excellent find in Soho! Cosy, authentic decor. Service was excellent; timing between courses, topping up of water, extra Parmesan! Food was delicious and good portions. Definitely go back

The food and overall vibe were great but the restaurant was VERY loud meaning it was near impossible to have a conversation

Great Italian food at 40 Dean Street, especially the obviously fresh calamari and tiger prawns. The rump lamb was beautifully cooked. The menu is mostly pasta and pizza, which I'm sure are delicious. Very decent and not overpriced wine list. Overall really good.
