For Mother's Day Brunch, we are offering a celebratory 3 course pre-fixe menu for $70 per adult & $35 per child (price does not include drinks, tax, or gratuity). There are multiple selections for appetizers, signature brunch main courses, and desserts with vegetarian and vegan options available. This is the only menu available, a la carte options are available at our bars only on a walk-in basis. We have a 48hr cancellation policy for Mother's Day Brunch, it is $30 per person if cancelled after 5pm on Friday 3/9.

Haven’t been to foreign cinema in 7 or 8 years. Seems like nothing has changed (in a good way). Food was excellent. Service solid and they play Jurassic park. Fu*k yea, let’s go!

Amazing food and drinks as always. Gets a bit louder when the movie starts but we were next to a speaker and could still have a normal conversation.

Great service from friendly staff, nice ambiance, and very flavorful dishes. The only issue we had were the portion sizes. After dinner we were still a bit hungry.

Food was delayed, there was a date label floating around in the bottom of my drink. I find the quality and value of Foreign Cinema deteriorating rapidly. Long time guest, not sure if I’ll be back.

We loved our dinner. Both our appetizers (asparagus soup and mole salad) and the both main courses were extraordinarily good. Perfectly prepared. Creative food combined flavors. I got the curry sesame fried chicken, and it was the best fried chicken I have ever tasted. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The hummus sauce and honeyed baby carrots brought it to another level. Equally fabulous was my husband's pork chop, perhaps the juiciest pork chop on the planet, with a kale side that had the zingiest flavor combo, just knocked us out. Superb glass of Burgundy. Lovely and knowledgable French female server. The only slight negative was the fruit tart for desert that didn't quite live up to the rest of the meal. As my husband said, these people know what they are doing, as the place was packed on a Saturday but there were no service stumbles. I also heard my neighbors on both sides raving about their dishes, so there is consistent excellence. Not cheap but worth every penny.

I first visited for brunch and had an excellent experience. However, my recent dinner visit was disappointing. While nothing was inherently wrong with the food, it lacked the wow factor one would expect for the price point. It was all decent, but nothing stood out as exceptional. Considering the cost, I expected more in terms of taste and creativity. I would still recommend for brunch, but I would hesitate to visit for dinner again.

Everything was delicious but i took the swordfish and it was very very tiny ! There wasn’t side… except 2 radicchio and a little spoon of peas purée. Really excellent but the size (at that price !!) is not acceptable. All others dishes were so much bigger…

WTH happened to this restaurant after COVID?!? The only times the waiter was actually attentive was giving me the bill. Thanks for ruining a perfectly good date night, since it's so hard refilling water or taking an order which took 30 min after sitting down won't be coming back soon I regret tipping at least the bussers were alert won't be coming back probably ever

Food was great but we booked there for a birthday celebration (already indicated in the booking), even called that afternoon before our dinner to confirm they would arrange a happy birthday plaque and candle on the dessert we order, but nothing happened, the server completely forgot. Very disappointing.

Came in for my birthday. Service is above and beyond lovely from the second you walk in. Food is superb. Drinks are fantastic. Environment is beautiful and classy. You can’t go wrong here.

best brunch by far in san francisco and no better anywhere in the world. The calamari baked in mole is as good as anything I’ve ever had. And the steak as well as all the egg dishes were remarkably good. The cocktails and wine list were amazing!

Best pork chop I’ve ever eaten (no exaggeration)! Also, the Lolita cocktail was delicious. Managed to get a courtyard seat and honestly everything was wonderful.

We had lunch to celebrate my mom's 98th birthday. She loved the noise, the food and the birthday cake slice. She felt young and good to be alive. The service was attentive and great.

After all these years, Foreign Cinema does not disappoint, in fact, they are still fantastic. We recently went for a brunch on a sunny day in SF and Foreign Cinema was the place to be. Even though it was bustling, the service was great, the food, even greater...yum. We split the Fruit Pop Tart and Lavender-baked goat cheese...double yum. The eggs, as usual, are the stars of the menu, I had the delicious Champagne French omelette and my partner had the Spring Scramble...triple yum. Of course the deserts are well worth saving room for and we polished off a Chocolate pot o creme. Well done Gayle and John, you have kept the experience and quality at the top. We'll be back soon for dinner!

This is my favorite brunch- you really can’t go wrong here, everything is done so well. The baked lavender goat cheese and brown sugar bacon were especially delicious.

Overall the food is good, however I ordered the swordfish and actually shocked they would serve a piece of fish so small at the price they were selling it for. Was about 3oz of fish for $40+.

Foreign Cinema has continually set a high bar for both their food and service. All dishes are thoughtfully prepared with seasonal ingredients. Service from all staff is very attentive and prompt. Definitely a San Francisco treasure.
