Our family enjoyed an early Mother’s Day celebration at Fora. The staff, especially Ben, are spectacular and welcoming. The mimosa and food options are delicious. We’re planning to try patio dining at Fora in a few weeks. We will be back!

Fora is a great place for an intimate dinner for two or for a family dinner! The setting is awesome and the food is excellent. The service was excellent. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Stopped by for drinks with friends and grabbed a few appetizers during Happy Hour. Great service. Quiet and comfortable environment which made it perfect for catching up.

This place is cute love the vibe but everything was just meh... We went to support our friend who was DJ'ing that Saturday for brunch. He was awesome but I wouldn't go here if it wasn't for him. the food was just ok.. very heavy on the beef, and pork which is a no-go for me. We both had the chicken sandwich and didn't even finish it. It wasn't good at all. the drinks we had were so spicy we couldn't even enjoy them then come to find out instead of jalapeno peppers muddled (which I asked for) they gave us poblano peppers. And wasn't gonna say anything until I asked. Didnt comp the drink or even apologize for the mistake. It's gonna be a NO for me. But bring back the DJ and I'll eat before hand.

This was by far one of the best brunches I’ve experienced in Chicago! Our server was exceptional and attentive and gave such great suggestions, and the food was beyond words. If the Fora french toast is on the menu…GET. IT. IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND!! How do they make it crispy and fluffy and magical??? Also…the yogurt parfait….my GOD. How do you make a yogurt parfait taste that good??!! Anyway…it was all beautiful. The music was amazing from the DJ and the ambiance and atmosphere was on point. DEFINITELY going back!

Great service and atmosphere but all dishes were very salty. Flavors were nice, combination of spices excellent, but too heavy on the salt. Looks great for cocktails and prices were reasonable. Staff was lovely.

I BOOKED THIS PLACE FOR MY FRIEND'S BIRTHDAY AND I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. THE AMBIENCE WAS TOP TIER! FROM THE BEGINNING TO END THE SERVICE, MUSIC, AND FOOD WAS AWESOME. BEN WAS OUR SERVER AND HE WAS THE BEST! WE HAD A BOOTH THEN AFTER PAYING THE BILL, WE MOVED TO THE COUCHES TO JUST CHILL OUT AND LISTEN TO THE MUSIC. WHAT A VIBE! Drinks were great, the rest sub-par. We ordered a few apps/small plates to share; nothing really stood out. Service was lacking and slow. Knowledge of the food items was limited, including server reassuring us a dish was vegetarian despite it having meat even after we asked multiple times due to a dietary restriction. No sincere apology was even offered. If I ever return, I’d stick to drinks only.

We weren’t greeted by a server because of confusion about who had the table, and while food runners were helpful, we had to flag down the server for everything. She was spending her time cleaning behind the bar and never checked on us and never brought water when we asked. The food was ok, but not amazing.

Restaurant is in a boutique hotel lobby across from Google HQ in Chicago. Lovely atmosphere and service. Comfortable tables with couches for booths. We enjoyed the food, we went during restaurant week. Kitchen was understaffed so food was slow, but they gave us a free round of drinks while we waited.

The food was great. The restaurant was stunning. My server Sarah (I think that was her name, I came around 730pm, sat in booth area) was amazing. I will definitely be back!!

I guess I’m leaving this review because the experience was so disparate from my expectations from the Open Table reviews and photos. It’s the restaurant in the first floor of the Emily Hotel. Feels more like a commercial office amenity space than a restaurant. Food was good but the vibe was completely dead - on an evening when all the restaurants in the neighborhood were packed. Was not impressed.

The shrimp appetizer was amazing. However the chimichurri steak was not good, it was not warm a butter infusion they put on top of the steak didn't even melt. The staff was great they did their best to try to make it better but the steak was a fail.

Fora was good for a hotel lobby restaurant, but of course not up to the same standard as all the surrounding incredible restaurants in Fulton Market and West Loop. Side note: my friend was charged $28 for an off menu buttered noodles for her 2 year old, which is why they lost points on value.

Not great. It lives up to the "hotel restaurant" category perfectly. Service was super slow. Food was mediocre. By the time the food came, we were not hungry anymore. We had to beg for water when our glasses were empty. There was no proactive service. We had to constantly ask for help. With so many amazing restaurants in the area, I'd rather wait an hour for a table across the street to be honest.

I recently had the privilege of celebrating both running the Chicago Marathon and my birthday at Fora, and I can't praise this establishment enough. From the moment we walked in, the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. The food at Fora was not just good; it was phenomenal. Every dish we tried was a culinary masterpiece, and the flavors were out of this world. The staff was equally impressive. Jesus, our host for the evening, went above and beyond to ensure that our celebration was memorable. His attentive service truly elevated the dining experience. Our server, Sarah, deserves special mention as well. She recommended the spicy shrimp option, and I must say it was a fantastic choice. The dish had just the right amount of heat and flavor to make it a standout Definitely recommend stopping by
