We had my son’s college graduation lunch here after a ceremony at Barclay. The restaurant is conveniently located about six blocks away. The ambience is very upscale/elegant and the receptionist and servers were all so friendly and polite. The market salad, soup, appetizer bar was very fresh and bountiful. We had the rodizio special where the servers continuously circulate (on request) with big skewers of many varieties of sizzling grilled meats, chicken and sausage and it was all so delicious. Four of us shared two deserts, creme brulee and molten lava cake with ice cream. They were delicious and very generous portions. Was a great and fun experience. Well done Fogo:))

Poor service. Not enough waiters and people serving food. Only get one piece of meat every 15 minutes. Don’t open the still water on the table unless you want to pay extra. Waiter forgot our drink order as well as the table next to us. Food was often over cooked even when you asked for medium rare. Quality was average at best. Some tables definitely get preferential treatment. Table next to us got waiters flocking to their table and were even vaping indoors.

Food was good. Drinks were just okay (tried three different ones). Would stick to wine if I go back. Ambiance was really nice.

Excellent experience for weekend dinner. We had a party of 8 and enjoyed the steaks and chops at the restaurant. The server is nice and the environment is comfortable to dine in.

Our experience in this new Fogo are ok. We all feel that all around service needs a lot of improvement. The gauchos does not seem to know if the meats that they are serving are rare, medium well or well done. All the servers seem to be clueless of what is available & does not know where they are serving a particular order. We saw a lot of servers walking around with food on the tray trying to figure out where it goes. This place is very disorganized. Their bathroom also needed to be maintained. They ran out of toilet paper & paper towels to wipe your hands with which I think is very unsanitary since the servers uses the same facilities.

I was very excited to celebrate my birthday here since I live in Brooklyn and they finally opened a location here! Initially, the service was very poor. Our waiter, Osman, forgot about us, and the experience was not very pleasant. Then, George, the manager, began to attend to us, and the experience went from 1 star to 5 stars! He provided excellent service, and thanks to George, I can say that my birthday experience at Fogo de Chao was wonderful!

I’ve been going to FOGO for years now the food is always excellent my # 1 FOGO is on 53st Manhattan Brooklyn will be #2 now I’ve also been to Washington FOGO and Philly

Went despite reading a bunch of bad reviews and so happy we did. Look our server said it, they had a tough period when they opened and were all training. Is it perfect? No, but it’s a lot of fun, the food is good, the drinks are great, the people are all really nice, and the vibe is energetic and strong. It reminds me of other Fogos I’ve been to, and as I’m a bk resident I will definitely be back!

This Restaraunt is spacious and has a nice ambience , perfect for a date night , double date or family night out. You definitely get great value here . The staff was pleasant and the drinks were amazing !
