Mother’s Day holiday rate is too expensive for the type of food served. There’s nothing special that set it apart from a normal day there. Just took advantage of the holiday.

This is a chain restaurant with service to match. The meats are rarely offered. They will keep swinging by with chicken though. In the 2 hours we were there, the Pichana was offered once. My father, who order that specific cut, never had ANY, and the tone and insults that came from the “manager” when I mentioned it, was shocking to say the least. You will get no attention from your “waiter.” This was the worst decision I made for a Mother’s Day celebration and I hope my experience will enlighten others before they consider this a good place to dine. Save your time, money, and efforts to support this business. The staff and restaurant don’t care and they will openly mock, criticize and condescend you.

I’ve never been to such a chaotic restaurant. Entrance area was so crowded (congrats on the restaurant’s popularity) we can hardly reach the reception desk. We were let to the back of the restaurant to be seated where it looked like a central train station…no ambience, loud with tables and chairs are strewn together. We were seated so close to buffet station, we can almost touch the food from our seats. I don’t know how to make of this type of restaurant… with horror and regret, we decided not to dine at the restaurant!

Mateo was the best server I’ve had at Fogo de Chao. He gets our order just the way we like it and was very friendly and professional. Excellent customer care! I’m very happy with his attitude and efforts. Food was delicious but it would be good to have the premium cuts of meat come out first. We actually didn’t get any ribeye sadly, even after an hour. But that wasn’t Mateo’s fault. I think the system needs to be improved that’s all. Thanks!

Fogo de Chão has, sadly, lost its “magic”, likely due to the pandemic as most places have. It is still a fun, exciting place to have dinner, but for $79 per person the unsalted meat and overcooked pork leaves much to desire at the price range. Still, the wonderful salad bar with endless choices ranging from peppers to salami to all sorts of delicious appetizers still makes for a wonderful experience. I just wish the meats were flavored better, and chefs gave a closer attention to detail.

Wonderfully attended to by gaucho Nelson and server Paulo. As always, delicious churrasco and great service. Deserves another visit. Come hungry and enjoy the salad bar, feijoada, meats, and the desserts.

The restaurant was packed so we only had 5 meat craver came over to offer us sliced meat. We got full on the market stuff + bread instead of the actual meat. We had to ask our server to please send meat over. They were busy attending to bigger parties so ignored us seated in the back with the rest of groups of 2. Too bad for the price we paid. Probably will not come back for the price, actual food received, and lacking experience. Server was good but kept giving us the Brazilian cheesy bread which was how we got full.

We went for restaurant week. The meat was spot on- the lamb was by far our favorite but the picanha and linguica both outstanding. We were so let down by the service. We had a reservation at 7:15 and waited 30 mins to be seated. It wasn’t terrible - we sat at the bar and got great drink specials while we waited. But once we were seated it was so disappointing - took what felt like 10 mins to get a card. I asked for cheese bread multiple times, was told it was in the oven, left and came back to find the tables next to us had it but we didn’t. When we finally got it it was cold :( We didn’t get plates once we ordered. We never got our water glasses refilled. I asked for the drink menu and never received it, my finger was cut because the guy was slicing right near my body. I don’t know, I loved fogo before but I think I’ll stick to the bar for my next visit…or go during lunch when it’s quiet.

We got to the restaurant right when our reservation was set for. However, we ended up waiting another 15 minutes to be seated in a very crowded foyer. However, the hosts were very kind and helpful, despite being very busy. Food was amazing! Lots of great meat options. The cheese bread was delicious and the market table had nice options as well.

Despite being very busy, our waitress was very attentive with her section, making sure to tell meat carvers and other food carriers came to our table whenever it was empty. The food itself was very average, certain meat cuts like the top sirloin and NY strip were very tough, while picanha and bottom sirloin were tender and well seasoned. Majority of the cuts lacked seasoning and the lamb cuts asides from the lamb rack were very very gamey. The market salad bar was quite disappointing in options and quality. For a price of $79 per person, there are definitely better options when it comes to Brazilian BBQ.

I will never return to this restaurant, and I urge others to save their time for another experience. I've been to the Fogo de Chao in Orlando, Las Vegas, and today was my first visit to the strikingly disappointing San Francisco location. Although the busser seemed to realize we were in the restaurant (he eventually refilled our drinks), we only saw our server twice (it's worth mentioning we were the only people in the restaurant for some time). The first time we saw our server was when we were seated, and the second time was to ask whether we wanted more than the four pao de queso we started with (he never brought more, even though we requested it). The food was also unsatisfactory. Although the picanha was decent, all of the other beef was nearly inedible. The fraldinha tasted like liver and the beef ribs lacked salt. When I asked to speak to a manager, a different server was sent to our table who asked what was wrong. I asked whether she was the manager. The manager eventually arrived, explaining that the managers were all in a meeting. To her credit, she asked what she could do to fix the problem. It was too little, too late.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Fogo de Chão, and it was an exceptional dining experience. The ambiance exuded warmth & sophistication. The staff at Fogo de Chão went above and beyond to make me feel special. Their attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and commitment to ensuring a memorable celebration truly impressed me. As it was my birthday, they surprised me with delightful desserts and our beautiful server Luciana sang Happy Birthday with my family. Her kind gestures made the occasion even more memorable. The churrasco-style dining with Feijoada Bar is a highlight, and the roasted eggplant, lamb chops, smoked salmon, and cheeses were indulgent for me as I do not have as often. One hiccup was we were charged for an infused shot that someone was passing around. While it's disappointing this happened, I wish the 'Cachaca Pineapple Infusion' was removed because we only took a sip. If you're not a "meat-eater" they have some pescatarian options, and one of the meat servers named Pablo was so kind and made sure we able to try all the various types of cuts and picanha bites available. He was so awesome he made sure my hubby got another slice of the Filet. *Chef's Kiss If you have celebratory occasion or enjoy this type of dining experience Fogo de Chao in San Francisco is a top choice.

Extreme bad customer service. The waiter ignored us the whole time. Never check on us, never refill our water, forgot to refill the polenta and bananas. The meat was ok, we only had maybe 4 different cut of meats and the meat guys were so slow. Will never comeback to this place again, complete rip-off

We had low expectations but it was actually pretty good. The food is good not great but it's basically all you can eat. Price was very reasonable. Salad bar was OK with lots to choose from but the actual salads were overdressed. The meats were varied,pretty tasty and kept coming. Ambience was quite nice.

The meat was as amazing as before. The service is okay. He checked in with us time to time and made sure our needs were being taken care of.. except one staff member came to the table and asked if we wanted to have some of the cocktails to try, after we nicely said no. The staff immediately dropped the smile and walked away.. we fe a t bit upset of th, t but out of that issue, this place is good for hanging out .

I booked a table and when I got in to the place there was a line, so I booked a place in a line. We wait 15-20 min. The meat was good, and the waiters are very kind, but overall, I didn’t like. Don’t pretend to come back. The worst Caipirinha ever. Saying as an bazilian, This is terrible. I had a bad experience sitting on the the worst table in the restaurant in front of the kitchen exit, maybe this gave me a bad ambience and noises with people passing thru my table.

The price was outrageous. The service was even worse than the price. I would never return to this location. Don't waste your money. Quality is below average.

Meat servers did not come around very often, I had to ask someone else to have someone visit our table 3 times before it happened. We only saw our waiter once, bad service

Fantastic salad bar with wide range of vegetables, cheese and cold cuts. Slices of roasted meats were delivered to our table until we were more than full. Nice line drink and delicious papaya cream dessert
