Le Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse (prononcé fo-go dèe shoun) est un authentique steakhouse du sud du Brésil servant depuis 1979 des grillades préparées à la manière des gauchos de Porto Alegre. Les chefs gauchos du Fogo utilisent aujourd'hui encore les mêmes techniques de cuisson pour préparer chacune des 20 pièces de viande du menu. Un service continu à table est assuré. Service was good. But the most expensive cut of the meet will take for ever to come to your table. You will get the cheaper cut few time on your table before the good one.

The steaks were dry… we had to wait awhile to get food on our plate, definitely not going back!

It’s been years since I returned to Fogo. Big disappointment with quality of food being served, both the salad bar and meat. Some meat being served look like leftover from last night, beef did not taste fresh and salad bar offered so little choices compare to competitors. With the price paid ($50 per person) I will definitely go to nearby competitor.

Like all places as the years go on the quality goes down. The salad bar was not as impressive, many items had run out and were not replenished, they only brought out the high end quality meat (ie filet mignon) once I. The 2 hours we were there. They didn’t offer a child size ice cream so we got the full servings and so much was wasted as they couldn’t eat it. Our table of 12 was squashed against a wall it was dangerous with us having children there and the waiters carrying large carving knives because there was barely any room for them to get through. The waiter collecting plates was gathering too many and had them balancing in a tray and sure enough a knife fell and hit one child on the arm and bounced to the floor, luckily aside from a bruise no injury… just not impressed, have gone there for years but we are done.

We love Fogo. Great restaurant and experience. This time we did not have that 5 star experience. Waiter rushed us all night, drinks were watered down from what we normally experience. Some of the meats were very fatty and tough to chew. Not normal for Fogo. Salad bar is always fantastic and I love the selection of hot, spicy peppers. No jalapeños this time. We went to bar after being rushed out of our table and enjoyed the rest of our time until closing. Why couldn’t we do that at our seat in a restaurant that was half empty? Still a great place. Will return.

I was a very important celebration for me and my family. I had great memories, and I wish to continue forever, but I would like to keep an eye on the hosts they seem like distracted and do not smile. The salad station looks weak. The waiter was not presentable for the restaurant such as Fogo de Chao. I only have to congratulate one person. He was not just any waiter. He is a leader well dressed (white shirt and black tie). Congratulations to him.

It was very good the only thing is with the dress many people arrive in shorts as if it were a simple restaurant before it was not like that, before they arrived semi-formal or formal now they are already missing all that a little, hence food and the rest very good.
