Le Fogo de Chão® (prononcé fo-go dèe shoun) est un authentique steakhouse du sud du Brésil. You smell savory scents of grilled meat. The servers, dressed in traditional gaucho attire, paraded around with skewers of perfectly cooked beef, chicken, and lamb. Each slice was tender and bursting with flavor, seasoned simply yet expertly. The salad bar was a colorful array of fresh vegetables, cheeses, and exotic fruits. It was an all-you-can-eat feast, a celebration of flavors, and an unforgettable culinary adventure.

It was Mother's Day, we had to wait 45 minutes to be seated and that was with a reservation and the service was mediocre.

Had 6pm reservations got there 5:50 line around the restaurant didn’t get seats until 6:45 charged 7.00 for water we didn’t ask for, card was flipped to green had to physically call for waiter because they kept passing our table….worst experience I’ve ever had for Mother’s Day

Made a reservation, but still have to wait 45 minutes. Seated at the corner table in the second room, it didn’t catch much attention over 75 minutes. Need better service and time management during holidays.

Even with a reservation, there was a wait. Once seated, it took about 20 minutes for us to even get a plate and silverware. An appetizer was given but didn’t even have little plates to place it on. Service in the beginning was not great.

If they sit you in the back room don’t take it they forget about you they don’t bring you food like that we didn’t get everything that was offered for the full price we should have just paid the deal instead of of full price your better off at olive garden

The service was slower than usual. They kept forgetting about our drinks and A1 sauce. Our initial server was very nice she was very inviting. We have been there several times but this time it was very loud and overcrowded.

Fogo is not what is used to be a few years ago…been twice in two weeks, and both times the service and quality have gone downhill…I won’t be back for a while…

The service was commendable, with attentive and patient staff, especially for large groups. The drinks were enjoyable. However, the salmon I ordered was dry and overcooked, possibly left cooking for too long. The chicken and lamb, a highlight for some, was served very late, potentially missed by those unaware of the full menu. Our drinks didn’t arrive until after we finished eating. The manager said they would be comped but they weren’t and we were brought out free dessert instead. We were offered shrimp cocktail the same way the rest of the “included meat” was and accepted not realizing that it would be an extra $25 extra. The salad bar was marginal. The restaurant was freezing so bring a sweater if you plan to go.

The meat is just meat.... no flavor it's bland, no salt no pepper!!! It's changed after the yrs... lamb chops are still good and veggie salad bar.. but won't ever step into a Fogo de Chao.

Great experience! Took my best friend here for a birthday brunch. She’s never been and was not disappointed. The food was great and the hospitality was even better. Thank you to the team! Only con was that it was nice and sunny out but the inside was a bit dark for brunch.

Disappointed this visit. Salad bar was meh at best. No fish at all and seemed mediocre. They usually have fresh lox with all the accoutrements. They didn’t even replace it with anything else. Once we sat down, it took the server 15 minutes to come take a drink order. When the gauchos came over with the different meat, they were serving small portions and much of the meat was not tender, and not seasoned. Completely disassatified.

All six of us had our first time there. It was my partner's birthday. Everything was great! The staff was attentive, the meat was delicious. For a brunch, I was Very impressed.

Not the best customer service, their complimentary bread used to be so good not the same anymore now they r usually cold and hard, meats are hard to get it you have to flag down the people to tell them what you are looking for otherwise they just keep walking, asked different people for certain meats but they forget and don’t bring you what you want. Will Not be going back here at least to this location.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Went last night 4/27 and sat for half an hour before even getting offered a drink. My waiter was going to every single table around us and wouldn’t even look my direction. I don’t know if it’s because me and my partner are young or whatever it may be. We then waited another 20 mins before any of the food came to our table, only got brought food around 4-5 times. Waiter didn’t even check on us to see if we needed a refill (which we did) or ask if the food was okay. Say for another 30ish mins and finally decided we were done with this place. As soon as we flipped our card over to red the waiter came and cleared our table, almost like he was happy to get us out of there. Paid $200 for amazing food but horrible service. I have been to fogo many times over the years and this is the 2 or 3 time this has happened to me. Will not be coming back to this fogo again. I definitely recommend the Rosemont and Schaumburg locations. Staff is very attentive and friendly unlike the downtown chicago location. Wish I knew the waiters name to give people a heads up.

What a fun experience! The salad bar was huge. Lots of options. The meat servers were constantly walking around. Noise level was loud and it was busy. Wine was reasonable $8 for glass of red blend. I was expecting a more upscale ambiance, but people were in sweatpants and athletic shorts. There were servers walking around with margaritas, shrimp cocktails and tequila. I’m glad our waiter told us these were an extra charge, because those serving them didn’t seem to disclose that. Near the end, it was hard to find our server to close our bill. They initially refused to split our check (which was necessary for business purposes). It frustrated us after a great experience of dining.

It was good until the guy asked for a tip? Like what kind of high class restaurant asks for a tip. I personally didn’t see where it said tip therefore I didn’t write anything down but for him to ask was tacky. The first time I went some other guy helped us and didn’t check for “tip” money

Wonderful experience. Our waiter was fantastic and the food is always consistently great. Been dining at Foco for decades. It is a Chicago staple and is great to know throughout the years it always provides an amazing night. Highly recommended for a romantic evening, anniversary or family celebrations.

First time coming here and enjoyed it. Me and fiancé was always skeptical about this place because from other people experiences it wasn’t good for them but it was GREAT for US!!

It was very difficult to understand the servers along with those assigned to our table. Based on what was brought to your table, I wasn't sure what was included and what wasn't until I received my bill.

Our server was so kind but outside of him it was not great… I was virtually ignored while my husband was asked if he wanted the various cuts of meat even though my card was green. The steak/meats were lukewarm not hot, and it just generally was not very good. Everyone’s packed in like sardines & you get bumped in to a million times.

A lot of the meat was cooked too well done, the lighting was too dim, otherwise good!

This place would get a 5 star review if it wasn’t for the waiter who called one of my friends a numb nuts when trying to sell us one of their dining packages. Never came back and apologized either. Food was amazing & plentiful. The plates were never empty.

Do not order any seafood, or allow them to upcharge you by serving you a shrimp cocktail. $50.00 lobster tail/claws were hard and very fishy, inedible. The menu does not tell you the price of the salad bar and carved meat-it is $66.00 per person. The bacon wrapped chicken was very good and the salad bar had nice selections.

We went for the Experience (Fogo De Chao Launch Party). It was so cute and the bar bites were good. The drinks were strong and the atmosphere is always nice. We took dad for his 84th BDay dinner. He enjoyed it very much (his first time there). We'll be back so he can experience the real deal! Always a pleasure at FOGO

The experience there was superb . The manager Erick was very attentive paying close attention to his co workers and the patrons, always asking how our dining experience was. I have been coming here "DEFINITELY" for the food, but more importantly the customer service. I have been in the customer service business for over 25 years , and one of many things that I have learned, is that "if you dont take care of the customer, ...... someone else will"
