Le Fogo de Chão® (prononcé fo-go dèe shoun), est un authentique steakhouse du sud du Brésil servant depuis 1979 des grillades préparées à la manière des gauchos de Porto Alegre. Always good food! Love the red pepper brown sugar bacon and grilled mozzarella and honey. The cucumber mojito is also exceptionally tasty.

We ordered the Dry Aged Ribeye and while it was aesthetically appealing, the salt block overpowered the flavor of the meat. Also, the wait time on the steak was longer than expected based on the temperature of the steak when it was brought out. Our steak was served blue though ordered to be cooked to medium. Due to the steak being significantly undercooked, we had to result to leaving it on the salt much longer than we intended causing the over saltiness. The sides were extremely underwhelming. The service and ambiance were great!

As always Fogo de Chao does not fail to meet my high expectations. This is my first time to the Austin location, but have been to San Francisco, Emeryville and Bethesda locations and they all provide superior service coupled with superior food.

Meat had no flavor. Side dishes were basic, what you would find at a sizzler’s. Changes in servers made it hard to keep up with requests made. I wouldn’t go back. There are better Brazilian restaurants.

Im Brazilian and have been to numerous Fogo de Chao and rodizios. The quality of the meat was poor. Servers slicing too thick pieces although when asked they’d go thinner. All Cuts were tough. The “filet mignon” was garlic so hard to cut -inedible. The fraldinha was the best cut. The sausage was not traditional Brazilian (color looked off and it was more of a chorizo). I asked about farofa e egg and was given some from the salad bar that was dry and seemed reheated many times. (In the past fogo used to make fresh w scrambled eggs when asked). The beef ribs usually moist and falling off bone was chewy and hard for server to even slice. Sad about the experience as we live down the street and love a good rodizio but wont be coming back. Cancelled the Casa Lapostole wine dinner in June as a result of the experience yesterday. Servers were nice and friendly but unfortunately the meat quality was not to par.

We were there for a graduation celebration. We were a group of 13 people. We had been there other times to celebrate other events as a large group and had great service and food. Today, food was not being served at the same frequency, really long waiting times, and got charged the highest fee for cuts we never got to eat. Really disappointed as this was the go-to place for a lot of our celebrations. Not sure we will go back for our celebrations.

I've been frequenting Fogo since before the Pandemic... It was a lot better at the old location. We had an 11 am reservation and when we arrived, we stood at the entrance for 10 minutes before being seated. Once we were seated, the first cuts of meat started coming out at 1140... This is a business lunch, we didn't have time to wait. The meat was OK, cooked the way it usually is, but the salad bar was not as impressive as it used to be. The Tabouleh was over-salted. Service was OK, nothing special, and the value is decent at $44 per person for all-you-can-eat meat. However, they bring the cheapest cuts out first to fill you up and bring the premium meats out a lot later. I asked for well-done lamb chops when I sat down at 1110 and I think they came out at 1150, and there were only 4 of them. I ordered more and it took about 15 more mins, they brought out 6 this time. I won't be returning, sadly. There are much better places in Austin now.

Took my girlfriend for her birthday. She loved the meats and everything. Only downfall is that we sat right at the entrance so it was pretty noisy but other than that overall experience was good.

Disappointed today. We found the food less flavorful with far less variety of meats than in past visits. The service started off poor but the manager noticed and tried to make up for the initial lack of attentiveness. Our young grandson has always loved the experience and we have enjoyed bringing him here in the past. Based on tonight’s experience, it is time for us to find him a new favorite restaurant in Austin.
