Located in historic Bungendore, FLOCK offers locals and visitors a friendly 1885 heritage venue and inviting beer garden to eat, drink and be happy. We consider our food offering to be of high quality, whether that be small plates to accompany afternoon drinks, or one of our tasty and generous meals.

During winter our 7 fireplaces keep our indoor dining warm and cosy, and in warmer months our garden and courtyard make outdoor seating a delight.

FLOCK also caters for private dining and parties. Just call us to discuss arrangements.

Parking is readily available directly in front of the restaurant and at the Inn's private off-street carpark.

Booked a table for 2 valentines day. 3 course for $85 pp. Entre came out quick, was tasty but the bread was burnt. Our main had not arrived after 1 hour, kindly asked the staff where it was and was told they would find out. After another 10-15 mins of waiting with no one coming back to inform us or let us know what was happening. We left... Went ended up going somewhere else.

One of my favourite places to go, food is consistently good and service fantastic. Take away is equally good. Highly recommended particularly on a nice day in the beer garden.

Love eating at Flock. The tables under the trees are a great spot for a relaxed lunch and the service is quick and friendly. I would like to see some cushions for the outdoor chairs.

Definitely the best place I've eaten in Bungendore - a great place for a special meal. The staff were welcoming and looked after us so well it felt more like visiting someone's home.

Flock is gastro pub dining and it’s a solid place to go for that kind of meal. We sat inside and it is quite noisy even with very few people there as it’s all wood floors and no sound cushioning. Probably better outside if the weather is good. We visited 27 December. It wasn’t too busy but I think there were very new staff and most still in training. The drinks and food orders were taken in a timely fashion and the food came within a good time. The table was cleared when we finished eating. And then we never saw the staff again so went across the road to the woodwork galley for coffee and cake!

I love this place but I was very disappointed with my experience at The Flock this time. I booked a table for my husband and I when coming up from the coast in our way to Canberra. I got a confirmation email from Open Table saying that our booking was confirmed. However, when we got there the restaurant was closed. One of the kitchen staff came out and I showed them the confirmation email of my booking and he just said: “oh sorry we are closed now. I’ll tell my manager about that”. It really affected us negatively because we couldn’t find anywhere else open to eat at that time. We could’ve had lunch at Braidwood which was open when we passed through, but because we had a booking at The Flock we didn’t think about it. So at the end we got to Canberra starving and disappointed.

The salmon fillet was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it. The price of cocktails had gone up for Dec by an average of $5. The aperol spritz cost $20 which was a bit steep. The staff are always pleasant, especially Scotty.

We drove past the Flock so many times while heading to the coast. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously, the decor, the food, the drinks everything was just amazing. Thank you for having us.

Lots of great things about The Flock but the food and the pricing could be so much better. Very disappointed with the quality of the food, the discrepancy between the online menu and the menu on site and the prices charged. I ordered braised beef ribs and I definitely didn't get ribs, it was chunk of dry meat, the mash, jus and asparagus (it was meant to be peas) were nice though.

We had pizzas and drinks in the beer garden. The pizzas were delicious and the service was outstanding. Staff couldn't do enough for us and kept the table clear of glasses constantly. Scotty was, as usual a wonderful host.

Staff could not have been more accommodating with our group, and high maintenance ways when we asked for more plates and cutlery. Nothing was too much for them, we felt well catered for. Food was served quickly, hot, and the taste was amazing. Had a greatly enjoyable night out.

Staff accommodated is well with heater on and blankets too . Food was great ! Music was great considering it was the young singers first night .

We always enjoy our visits to the Carrington. Flock's tastefully refurbished colonial heritage dining areas offer a unique and welcome option for our family's special occassions. When the sun is shining we love to relax under the dappled shade of ancient oaks whilst our children play on the open lawns. In cooler times we usually find a place near the open fires. Food is always hearty and our family rarely has anything left on the plate.

Service is friendly and the restaurant decor is tasteful and comfortable. We do find, having dined previously, that the larger dining room can be noisy when larger groups are present. Maybe runners or moveable partitions may deaden the sound? Food quality is fine however we did find the serving sizes a bit large. Well worth a meal though!

Amazing atmosphere and service as always! The food was great except the pork belly. It was perhaps boiled and quickly fried making it quite tasteless and tough.
