Everything I ordered was amazing. I ordered the hummus appetizer and grilled shrimp taco flight. Yum! Our server Gage was the best!

The server was very friendly but she could have been more attentive. The food was amazing. The lobster Mac and cheese is AMAZING. The margarita tasted like diet lemonade. I was very disappointed.

This is the second time the wife and I have been here... both inside and outside (we had a res. for inside but was probably 90 decibels if not more so we asked and were shifter to outside) is very loud. Per the server they were short handed, and it seemed to be true, but the last time was also a bit of a mess too. Lastly the kitchen timing is off. We ordered an appetizer as well as entrees, yet both were brought at the same time. When you combine this issue, noise, mostly food service issues, coupled with the lack of parking (you have to use the dirt lot across the street) way over rated, over priced not worth it.

Valentines date with wife . We asked for a table with high top chairs and were told by waitress it was reserved. No one occupied the table we requested during the hour we were there. Loud ambiance with music videos playing on large tv screens. I ordered an old Fashioned and it was made with too much syrup. The food was the only good value of this place that saves them.

When you look at this establishment from the outside, you have no idea what culinary experience awaits you. The atmosphere matches the first impression - loud bar that serves food. Lots of people in about their 30', 40's, and 50's sitting in big groups enjoying each others' company. Loud music, lots of laughter, everybody Hava good time. I chose this place because of the reviews on the food. The food is AWESOME! And not just your standard bar food. They serve a wide variety of culinary delights - fried Brussels sprouts, Wagyu beef sliders, lobster mac n' cheese! Large portions. Excellent service. The only reason I did take it down one notch was because of the noise level.

We had a reservation but the host (long black hair-medium stature)did not seat us right away. Said it didn’t matter that we had a reservation and that it was going to be a 30 min wait. After 45 min we were seated. Food was good. We paid and didn’t ask for receipt our server came a second time to ask if we wanted to check out. I replied that we had already paid and she glanced at us and asked for receipt. Luckily she was able to retrieve our information and apologized. People were coming in but because of the bad host service they were walking out.

This was our first time here. Fun place! Amazing menu selection. Great beer and cocktail selection. Food was pretty good. LOVED the calamari. We ordered the Santa Fe Chicken and Marsala Chicken. Sandwich had a lot of aioli on the bun, but I like that. Fries were good too! My husband had the Marsala and he wasn't thrilled with it, but he ate it. It wasn't traditional Marsala as he expected but still good. Servers were the bartenders and they were very friendly and personable. They greeted us the moment we walked in. They were down 2 people so we had to flag them down a couple of times and didn't get a receipt we asked for, but no biggie. Bar patrons were a bit loud but can't do much about that. We will definitely be back! We want to try everything on the menu!

First time here with a group of 7 and we chose outside seating because it was a beautiful day. Great atmosphere. The service was good, cocktails and beer were good and the food was amazing! Highly recommend the Ahi Tuna nachos, the millionaire grilled cheese, and the lobster mac n cheese.

Food was great! What was unexpected was the extreme friendliness of the staff! We had a going away gift for my sister and a couple members of the staff asked what we were celebrating which opened up a very nice conversation! I was telling my sister and son that the previous business (Lil Abner’s) was a dive bar and how much it had changed! Wonderful place!

The food is always on point. Service is getting a little slow due to a staff changeover. The hostess wasn't there when we arrived and several staff passed us by without so much as a hello or can I help you. The place was far from full. I arrived on time informed them I had a reservation told me to sit anywhere. The service left a lot to be desired. I had to go to bar to place my order then go to bar to pay my order. Will say once order was placed food came out fast. The food was amazing service just the opposite

The guests at the table near us were loud and obnoxious. Some of the young men seemed to be in some weird kind of yelling contest. If I had to guess, I would say they were drunk. I never saw any of the staff approach them or ask them to calm/quiet down. The food was really good, but the atmosphere ruined the mood. I don’t think I will go there again.

The service and the food was delicious. Flat top bar and grill is definitely a hidden gem in Riverside. On Friday nights they have a DJ from 10pm-2am and he takes request. Great place to meet new people.

Once again Flat Top does not disappoint. As always the food was delicious...even though they have not brought back their SHRIMP COCKTAIL yet...hint hint... Special shout out to Jade who is the hostess! She is always enthusiastic and friendly and as the first person you interact with at a restaurant that is so important! She does a great job of making us feel welcome, and always tries to accommodate us with table choice out on the patio! Thanks Jade!!! Keep up the good work!!

Extremely overpriced for bar and grill. Food was fair/good quality, but patio tables were dirty and concrete countertops were sticky and dirty. The owner needs to take another look at his pricing and surcharges, it’s an upscale dive bar.

Waitress was very nice but screwed up on our order. Husband ordered cheese and steak omelet and got everything but cheese and steak.
