The server was great, but the food was lack luster. No seasoning, extreme amounts of oil floating on the shrimp & grits & pasta dishes. Other than the server, the high point was the drinks were decent & food was served quickly. Low points other than the food was the noise levels. An extremely large group of about 30 (looked like 13-16 year olds) took about 30 minutes next to our table taking pictures very loudly. It’s a very cute, Instagramable type of place, but with all that going on around you, we couldn’t even hold a conversation. Note: we were also hosting a 16th bday dinner there that night & none of our guests did that to others tables. It would be nice if those areas to photograph were not literally next to seated guests.

The food was extremely oily where it left your mouth tasting like oil. The outdoor patio is nice and so was the waitress. But nothing to write home about.

Our pink haired waitress had terrible service. She didn’t even greet us with her name. Maybe it just wasn’t her day! I’ve been to Flamingo A-Go-Go plenty of times & had never experienced such service as I did on April 1st. Needless to say, I didn’t even stay a whole hour bc her service was so trash. Also, I mistakenly left my sunglasses on the table, came back not even 10 whole minutes after leaving to see if I can retrieve them & they were gone. Low & behold, the hostess said our waitress was the one who cleared our table. Yet, she claimed she didn’t move them. The food & drinks are always great. I’ll definitely be back, but I’d like to never be served by Miss Pink Hair ever again!

This is a nice place and probably fun at night. We ate lunch on this day but they were out of several cocktails that were specials. We asked for something similar at the discount or special but denied any deal. Overall l, this was a one and done visit.

It was fine. Had a decent lunch service was adequate. Food good. Reservations for outside no tables. Inside was a little loud.

The omelettes were really good, not a fan of the grits (not traditional type of buttery creamy grits), the service was nice but our server did forget a few requests for things. Love the atmosphere and music along with inside/outside sitting options. We will definitely be back but likely try the lunch menu instead.

Food was meh, don’t order any stereotypical Cajun or creole and you should be ok. back patio was very pleasant to hang out in, especially with kids. Service was wonderful.

We arrived early for our reservation but, we were seating immediately. No one came to our table the first 15 minutes we were there. The service was very slow but, it seemed our waitress had a 10 top inside and we were seated at the far end of the patio. It really wasn't fair to the waitress. Overall, I'd visit again. I loved the huge patio, the music, and the onion soup. Our waitress was super kind, too.

Overbooked understaffed, had a 2:15 reservation, wasn’t seated until 3:00 & the waitress didn’t greet us until 3:30. We didn’t eat until 4:20.

The service at this restaurant was the worst I've come across in New Orleans. It took over 30 minutes to get our drinks, and we gave up waiting on the second drinks we ordered after around 40 minutes and left, the servers were nowhere to be seen and weren't particularly apologetic. The food was fine but nothing special, probbaly below average for the city. There are so many good places to eat in NOLA, don't waste your time here.

The atmosphere is cool. The service was as good as to be expected since it was Saturday during lunch. One thing we tried to order they were already out of @ 1p. The food on the other hand was meh. The shrimp were definitely not fresh local gulf shrimp..they were small and rubber like and not cooked long enough...most likely frozen Sysco food.

Love flamingo. Everything was great with the exception of being stuck by the front door that was open, and it was in the 40s outside. They did finally close the door and move us to a table not directly in front of the door. They had a table of women who were clearly intoxicated and being loud and obnoxious, but I know there’s not much they can do about that. Just go in prepared for it be extremely loud

The staff were extremely understanding and mostly friendly!! The size of my party changed and we also had to accommodate a baby and our waitress handled it perfectly and quickly. The food was amazing! Recommend the garlic parm chicken appetizer and the cinnamon toast shot! They’re a little pricey but it’s definitely worth it for the food you get!

Our waiter and the person he was training (Spencer and Carly) were great! They were patient, friendly, and fun. It was our first visit there so we looked over the menu for a bit. Got Brussel Sprouts, shrimp poboy, and a breakfast sandwich. We shared food and it was all amazing. Chose this place because we had a gift card but will definitely be back!

We were sat on patio, and no one came to greet us. We waited for over 25 minutes, and our presence was not acknowledged. We attempted to just order at the bar, but there was a long line & we noticed a significant sewer odor inside. We left and went elsewhere.

Ran out of champagne after we ordered bottomless mimosas. Had to wait at least 15 min between each drinks. Restaurant wasn’t very busy but the service was very poor. Had to get up and go inside to pay because we didn’t see our waitress for half an hour. I have gone to this restaurant many times in the past and my experience has never been this bad. Not sure if they were understaffed, but disappointed with my overall experience.

They were severely understaffed but kept seating tables. We got there very early when barely anyone was there. A lady took our order and then we literally never saw her again. Our food came out after an hour and 20 minutes of waiting. We had a tour to catch so we barely ate and then left. Food was ok but not worth the $120 bill for 4 lunches.

So we were in town for the Christmas holiday. My wife and I come to New Orleans quite a bit. My wife heard about Flamingo a go go and we really were looking forward to going we made a reservation for Christmas day. On the website it made it look like there were only a few slots available so we took 5 . When got there no body was there. No big deal on that but misleading. Anyway the service was still slow but again no big deal. The food was okay bur while we were waiting for our waitress to come back with my credit card . A large rat yes a RAT probably 10 to 12 inches long ran under our table . Freaked my wife out. Of course who wouldn't. Anyway believe it or not it gets worse. So the manager comes by I call him over and tell him a large rat basically ran over my wife's foot stop and then ran under a door. He tells us we can't get rid of them here there everywhere. Nor surprise not I'm so sorry bur there EVERYWHERE.! Needless to say we left are doggy bag and will never go back again. We come to New Orleans three or four times a year and eat out all over town. I have never seen a rat.run through a dining room

Our waitress, Sydney, was very attentive and professional. I have no complaints regarding the service. The food was so-so, I found the waffle to be a bit gummy.

We went there for a teen birthday brunch. . Wasn’t expecting five star as far as food quality, but wasn’t an omelette, more so a cold piece of egg with spinach, and onion spooned in after it was plated. Gouda grits were also cold & lumpy. Our server may or may not have been high, which is fine, except he couldn’t remember the drinks, and had to be reminded repeatedly. Writing it down would’ve helped. Ladies room was a little dirty, soap dispenser was broken, as was one of the stalls. That said, the kids liked it, and got lots of pictures, which is what it’s all about.

We waited 20 minutes for a server to greet us. We had to tell someone that our server hadn’t come to our table for the server to finally show. There were several workers sitting around on their phones in the dining room and around the bar. The server gave us all kid size water cups with lids (all attendees were 30+) and never refilled us. Server forgot someone’s beer and finally brought it out 20 minutes later. We asked for the beer to be comped due to the wait and she took it off the table and walked away. Food was pretty tasty but they did forget parts of our order when delivered. The server ended our meal with “next time yall come when we aren’t busy and it’ll be a better experience”.

I loved the aesthetic of the restaurant and my server was great she was patient and answered all my many questions. I was just sad we made reservations and no one told us that the thanksgiving dinner was sold out until we were trying to order it after we ordered drinks and an appetizer. Should have been the first thing we were informed of as we specifically made reservations on thanksgiving day.
