Le chef Mark Monette est responsable des délices culinaires chez Maison Flagstaff depuis 1985. Son style unique intègre la cuisine française et les accents asiatiques, réunis par sa formation acquise dans plusieurs restaurants étoilés Michelin 3 fois, en France et en Orient. Mark a travaillé avec plusieurs grands chefs dont Bernard Hermman et Thomas Keller. Au Flagstaff House, le chef Mark a eu le plaisir de préparer un menu spécial pour l'empereur et l'impératrice du Japon, ainsi que pour le Premier ministre du Japon et ses ministres des Affaires étrangères. Le restaurant a également reçu et nourrit plusieurs dignitaires culinaires notables, dont Paul Bocuse, Angela Gaja et Robert Mondavi. La famille Monette est propriétaire de Flagstaff House depuis 1971. Beautiful place and atmosphere. Truly a romantic and fine dining experience. Beautiful view, fantastic service. Food was pretty good but a few courses were just ok. The primary reason I'm rating lower is because my husband and I both got sick after, and even though that was my first meal of the day and the only meal that we shared that day, "Flagstaff house couldn't prove that the foodborn illness was from them" so after paying $600 for dinner and sitting in the bathroom for the next 10 hours, we will not be back :)

This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. From the moment you pull up to the restaurant it feels like they have been waiting just for you. The entire staff is the finest w have ever witnessed: friendly, professional, incredibly capable without hovering. Timing of the food is amazing. Food is excellent and menu choices are quite fulfilling and interesting.

Probably the best dining experience we’ve ever had-and ever will have. I couldn’t give it a 5 star on the value just because it’s a pricey place. That said, for us, it was one of those once or twice in a lifetime experiences. The staff are amazing-so professional and on top of everything. The food was over the top awesome. And you can’t beat the gorgeous location. Thanks for everything!

Extremely pleasant night out. The staff was on top of everything. This was a rare occasion to eat out at such a restaurant and never once did they make us or we fill out of place. They couldn’t have done a better job and the food was amazing!

A five-star experience with a soft landing. The Flagstaff House is one of the most iconic restaurants in the United States, with magnificent views, creative food, impeccable service and elegant ambiance. If you wish to make an evening unforgettable, there is no better place. However, the desserts and tiered sugar tray were anti-climactic, especially in contrast to other courses. The chocolate bag the Flagstaff was historically known for always left you with a wow. A stronger finish to the meal would've made this a perfect experience.

Had a great experience celebrating my girlfriends birthday. Staff from valet to greeter to waiters all made her feel special on her special day. Food was amazing and presentation was top notch. Attention to detail and quick and responsive servers made the experience memorable. An A+ grade and experience!

This place was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this place for special occasions and/or great date nights. The service was top tier and the food was different but delicious! The view was also the best in the business by far.

I paid $88.00 extra for Wagyu steak. I received 5 pre-cut bites of Wagyu steak. No where near a $88.00 dollar price tag. Very disappointing. I do NOT recommend ordering Wagyu!!!

Amazing view, great service. The food was good but hit or miss for us. Braised baby beets was the best dish I had. Super well balanced and tasty. The filet was also excellent but the A5 wagyu wasn’t worth the extra $88. It was underwhelming at best. 100% will be going back though for the view and service alone. Oh, the carrot cake was also delicious.

The food and service were great! However, the heating system seems a little bit hard to control as I had to ask them to turn it down several times due to sitting right under a heating element and being fairly uncomfortable.

We are very sorry, however, to hear that the temperature of the dining room made the evening somewhat uncomfortable. We try our best to mitigate the temperature in each room to suit all of our guests, and we are sorry this was not the case. While we are very proud to have been open over 50 years, we know that it can come with some downfalls, like an older heating system. Please know that we take all feedback seriously and are working to fix this!

Quite a special and lovely experience. I rated “value” five stars and just want to point out that what you spend is worth the dining experience but you will spend approximately $500 per couple all in if you buy drinks. The drinks were also spectacular, I might add. I look forward to going back!

It was wonderful. The restaurant made the even particularly special and were able to thoroughly accommodate vegan food. We are still talking about how wonderful the dinner was the next day!

A gorgeous location, lovely ambiance and great staff! But the set menu is a little disappointing- jut good food but no outstanding flavors!

The food was absolutely amazing! The presentation of every dish was gorgeous and the view was breathtaking. It is definitely on the pricier side but the food quality, spectacular service, and beautiful outlook made it 100% worth it!
