We had a very large group and they were able to sit us near each other . That was fantastic . My son and his best friend were able to celebrate his last day of 8th grade together as 8th graders and it was great .

Amazing to go to a restaurant in an area like LA Live and feel like it is a place you would want to go no matter where it was located. Food is excellent. In a packed house, the kitchen was fully delivering, and nothing felt like it was rushed, despite the quick turnaround from order to service. The service was EXCELLENT. Again, with a packed house, several large groups on a Sunday afternoon, long line of walk-ins, and 80 minutes before tip-off of a sold-out Sparks game, we arrived on time for our reservation and were seated immediately. Our server was swamped, but the front of house team were able to cover for him and get drinks and apps going so we weren't waiting. When he was able to get to us, it was perfect timing for us to order, and he was friendly and attentive for the rest of our meal. Sunday vibes were great, Live DJ spinning feel-good soul, loud and vibrant crowd with a mix of folks from families to dates. Might not be the place for everyone, but if you're the kind of person that likes to sit back and ride the groove while you enjoy bites of food, this is a place for you. Only place in LA Live that I have ever left looking forward to visiting again.

Delicious food, excellent customer service, nice portion size, and reasonable pricing! Highly recommend if you’re looking for soul food that tastes like Nana & M’dear Sunday/Holiday dinners - you won’t be disappointed! I will definitely be going back!

This restaurant NEVER disappoints for me. The music could be turned down a notch (not 2) but other than that my favorite!!!

I loved the food, ambience and service! Great “go to” place after a WNBA game. I had the shrimp and grits. They were far better than any I had in NOLA!
