They need to figure out how to get hot food to customers. Waffles and chicken should be served hot. My hurricane drink was good. I have returned them before but yesterday it was really good. Please Go back to the smaller chicken wings. Don’t like the turkey like chicken wings. I love the ambience and food is good just need to serve when it’s hotter. That’s my take on our visit.

Love the food the service and overall experience. One of the best soul food spots we have tried. Simple menu is very much appreciated. Portion sizes are great on everything except fish two pieces vs one would be better value. Nonetheless less highly recommended and yes I would still order the fish regardless of portion because everything is tasty. Bonus was the signs on wall. Super cute and quite true! Well done Fixins!

The restaurant has a very energetic vibe. It caters to a youthful audience. My group and I are older so we prefer the noise level to be lower. The music was being played too loud. The fried chicken was tasty but it too greasy. The candied yams and red beans were top notch. The service was good. The food came out very fast. However, for some reason the server never removed the dirty dishes after we finished eating. Overall, we enjoyed the restaurant.

Absolutely amazing. We were a little early for our reservations. They sat us prior to resy time. Everything we ordered came out super fast, was fresh and tasted amazing. I will definitely return.

Delicious food, great ambiance, good service! I had the fried chicken, greens & candied yams. Absolutely delicious! Looking forward to returning.

The food was flavorful and tasty, there was a great DJ that played good music, the food was delivered quickly so that we can make the WNBA game in time and the service was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I always look forward eating at Fixins. The food is consistently delicious and the service is A+. My party of 6 was greeted at the door with a smile and a friendly welcome along with a great DJ. Our waiter, Connor was very attentive and helpful with questions about the menu. The catfish, chicken and waffles, fried chicken, black eyed peas, red beans and rice, potato salad, coleslaw and greens are must haves. My daughter really enjoyed the vegan greens and okra. Lastly, you must try the red velvet cake too!
