The cioppino was wonderful. I am from San Francisco originally and don’t often get a good cioppino this side of the Mississippi so I was very pleased. Our server, Samantha was professional, friendly, adorable and prompt. The restaurant is a little bit loud and some of the prices seem a little bit high like 1295 for a baked potato side dish seemed like a lot, but kind of normal for downtown restaurant. We will definitely return.

We highly recommend Five on Vine! Every thing we ordered was incredible. Absolutely delicious! Each dish is like a work of art...every ingredient mixes well! Plus we love the windows and people watching. Great atmosphere!

We were there with a large party and the service was fabulous. The menu is very diverse, and each item was prepared with great attention to detail. I highly recommend it.

I've been to Five on Vine before and usually have a great server/experience. My most recent visit was a rare miss in service due to attentiveness. However, the food is high quality, drinks are solid, and the dessert is some of the best around. If you haven't been to Five, you should - especially fans of steak and pasta.

It was our first time going as we were celebrating my birthday and everything was amazing! Service was great, food was delicious.. I will definitely be back!

The service was fantastic! From the moment we were greeted at the door by Elise to our server, Ryan, the staff went above and beyond. They were all so friendly and attentive, and made our evening an enjoyable one. The food was delicious. Highly recommend!

The pot roast was not as we remembered traditional pot roast. Didn't have to be the same, but was like a stew and a bit fatty. The steak and frites was good. The artichokes were tougher to eat than we expected, have had them before. The wine list was alright but not exciting to a wino. Overall nice place, could go back but there are so many other options.

First time dining at Five on Vine. Really wonderful experience! Staff, food & ambiance was top rate. Our waitress, Riss, was amazing. Her suggestions & explanations were spot on. She time everything perfectly, we never felt rushed. We had the chicken liver, baked brie, truffle fettuccine, spaghetti & clams, pot roast and cornbread were all over the top delicious. Everyone shared and we couldn’t decide which we liked best. Coffee & cake for dessert. We left very full. Riss had a darling personality that added to our evening. We will definitely be back!

We sat at the bar, and we were well taken care of by Patrick. The food was delicious and we had a really lovely time. Highly recommend!

We have a fabulous dinner last night. Our server was great. Knowledgeable about the food and the how things came out of the kitchen. She made good recommendations for appetizers and mains We were celebrating my daughter’s graduation from UC. It was our 2nd time at 5 on vine and was better this experience. Thank you.

Food was amazing and staff was very nice. I would go back. However, when I made the reservation I specified that we had a time constraint with seeing a show at the Aronoff. Host and waitress acknowledged they would handle everything in a timely manner. I know you cannot control how busy a location is, but service seemed slow and courses a bit too spread out. Hour and a half for all food that was shared between me and my sister. We placed our card on the table to try and hurry the check along, but even once that was taken it was slow to get it back. All that to say, I would go back, because the staff was nice and the food was amazing. But I would not go with any sort of time constraint.

Exceptional meal!!! It is absolutely no.1 on our list of downtown restaurants. WOW is all I can say. We will be back!!!!!

This place is a vibe. Started with the espresso martini that I didn’t even know i needed in my life!! The addition of chocolate set it over the top. Then had oysters that were perfectly sized and deliciously briny. I ordered the vodka rigatoni and the portion was perfect and it was delicious. My friends ordered the mussels and the coconut curry sauce will have you dipping anything you can find to finish it all!! Ambience is great and the service was top notch!! Totally recommend!! Our server Brent was great!! Thanks for making our Cincy bday weekend extra special!!

We were celebrating a birthday, and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and our server was just attentive enough without being overbearing. She even opened the door to the kitchen as we were leaving to tell us what a pleasure it had been serving us. The restaurant is expensive, but was worth the cost. A wonderful special occasion restaurant.

The OTR Wellington was excellent! We were disappointed in the other items.Pot roast had a lot of fat, prime rib sandwich was not very good. The crab salad over avacodo was nicely presented tasty with nice seasonings but there didn’t seem to be much crab meat. This was our second visit. We were happier the first time and not likely to go back.

Food was awesome, service was top tier. Baked brie was very yummy. The filet mignon was perfect. Love that it’s locally sourced. The sides are plenty large enough for two people to split. Only negative is that the middle tables in the dining room were so noisy. When we come back we’ll insist on a booth, or sit in the bar area, but everything was great so we will definitely be back, mostly due to the friendly and outgoing staff.

Second time dining at Five On Vine. Atmosphere and service are always top notch. Food was excellent. It's definitely a place to go for a special occasion or if wanting to do something a little fancier/pricier with friends. I thought the homeade pasta was delicious and will order again next time. We very much enjoyed our evening!

We were very much looking forward to dining at five on vine. However the food was quite average. My truffle pasta was very lacking in truffle and the pasta was overcooked. The rigatoni was nice, the tomato sauce was oddly sweet. Oysters were good and fresh. My mussels were fine, a little luke warm, but nice, about 6 of them were closed though, I wouldnt expect those to be served. The steak was fine, very average, a bit greasy needed more seasoning. And you couldn’t really taste much truffle. It came without sides, so we ordered a loaded baked potato, it was filled with a kind of wet cheesy puree. The craft cocktails are $28 each, regular cocktails were less. I ordered a vodka martini (ketel 1) they charged $28 for one, then an extra $2.50 for 3 small olives. Over $30 for a very standard unexciting martini. We won’t be going back!

Loved our meal at Five and Vine. Joined with some friends and had an excellent overall experience. The appetizers came out strong. The smoked shrimp were just outstanding. Excellent bite. My wife had the truffle fettuccine and I had the Ciappano, both outstanding. The truffle pasta was creamy and flavorful, but not too heavy. The protein the pair it with is a bit odd. Meatballs in a different sauce. The meatballs were good, but they should add shrimp or chicken which would fit much better. Still very good though. The star of the show was the Ciappano, the sauce melded so well with the perfectly cooked seafood and it was a very hearty portion for the price. Really a top dish in the city!!! Each of the pieces of seafood were well cooked and with the variety of flavors that’s impressive. Again the dish couldn’t be any better!! Will be back again soon.

What a wonderful place. Our second time there in connection with an event in Music Hall. Had the Baked Brie for a second time -- it is the best I've ever had. And the homemade pasta is superb -- I had stroganoff which was perfectly crafted. Our server, Angela, was tops: friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. So many other things to try on the menu, and we are looking forward to doing that. If you asked if I could wish for something, it would be for less expensive drinks. This is really an OTR gem.

The food options are great .. wine list is good ... cocktails good... service very good .... Brian is the bartender that visit,.. he is very engaged and communicates often with the customers.... all the staff is attentive and present ... I would most def say GO GO GO
