The Five Bells is a stunning 16th century inn overlooking the North Downs in East Brabourne. A quintessential English country pub with four gorgeous guest suites. Proud to have been twice voted Kent Life Pub of the Year and winner of Kent Pub of the Year at the 2019 National Pub Awards.

Beautiful pub and great atmosphere! All staff are always so welcoming and friendly and go out of their way to please their guests. Highly recommended!

Excellent meal, food and drink was very good as always but it didn’t seem like there were anywhere near enough staff compared to previous visits - those that were there seemed run off their feet so service was consequently slow at times.

Whilst I can appreciate everything has gone up of late, prices were steep for what you received. 3 of Us went for Dinner 2x Small Pieces of Lamb Rump, 3 average Potato’s and around 6 bits of very skinny Tenderstem Broccoli for £27.50 just doesn’t cut it. The Steak at £33.50 wasn’t great either. Only thing that was fair was the Pizza one of Us had.

Excellent all round. This pub is amazing. The food is fabulous. It is well looked after and beautifully decorated. The dogs were welcome. Without doubt the best pub for miles.

Mildly disappointed they didn’t have the Scotch Egg on the Starter menu.

A warm welcome as always from the team. Sadly the table was half in the inglenook and meant it felt rather cramped and hard to perch on easily. We had drinks to start (Guinness was good) and the Bloody Mary was rather uninspiring - no dressing or celery to give it a real ‘wow’; just served with a straw in a large wine glass. Beef roast lunch was well cooked and tasty. The Yorkshire pudding was size over substance and was very airy without any real ‘batter’ taste. Overall a good lunch and a proper pub atmosphere.

Absolutely love this place, the staff, the service, the setting, the food, the atmosphere, it's all just perfect. Thank you to everyone front and back of house for working so hard to create a wonderful experience. We hope the 10% service charge added to the bill is shared equally amongst you all, very well deserved.

The Five Bells is always a pleasant experience, good atmosphere, a warming open fire, some good real ales, and some very good food .. Highly recommend ..
