Indulge in our signature tasting menu, a celebration of Vancouver Islands bounty of ingredients. Crafted with seasonality in mind, each dish pays homage to our farmers, forests and ocean, along with the whims of our culinary team. As always, the experience was great. Staff are always awesome. Food was great, but I did find the calamari was a bit too salty and could have used more sauce.

We had lunch on the back patio, and everything was great. We ate Korean fried chicken and a lobster combo on a roll; they were both delicious. Our server, James, gave us all the time we needed, and great service. It’s a bit pricey, but it was worth it! l

Great service, food was great! Noise from the staff at the bar could have been a little lower. I think they forgot we were sitting there! But learned some interesting stuff about the staff! Would definitely go again, out waitress Allana was top notch. And food was great with a decent portion size.

The restaurant is beautiful and service was fantastic. Had the beef dip which was very soggy before even dipping it. My friend ordered the Reubin sandwich which was also soggy, and unfortunately the meat was very fatty and hard to chew so she returned it and got something else. I do you have to say our server handled it very well and immediately got her a replacement. Also, we both had the bacon and butternut squash soup, which is the best soup we have ever had. We will definitely go back again as the atmosphere there is great. We definitely had higher expectations as the menu is quite pricey, which may have caused some of our disappointment.

The bacon and butternut squash was delicious so much so that my friend had had it a week ago, recommended it and was having it again. Great recommendation and next time I will get a bowl. We shared the Margherita pizza and ended lunch with the outstanding cheesecake. My favourite go to place for any meal including Happy Hour especially outside during the nice weather. Elie was attentive and a great representative of Fireside Grill.

Our waiter was excellent. I remember him serving our table of 10 on my 80th on Dec 29, 2022. Very professional and competent!

Service was fast and courteous. Food was very good but serving was a little big for seniors. Maybe a seniors menu would be nice.

The Fireside Grill was absolutely wonderful. Our server, Makaila, was very pleasant and knowledgeable and attentive. The menu has a great variety of items and was presented perfectly and the taste was amazing.

I’m a regular patron of the Fireside Grill. I love the when the warmer weather allows me to dine outside. The food, ambience, and service is always top notch. I strongly recommend any dining experience at the Fireside.

The crab cakes were very salty and really didn’t taste like crab at all. Not a good value for $25. My friends Fungi pizza was soggy bottomed and had to be eaten with a knife and fork. Been here many times and the food has been excellent. Love the Ahi Tuna nachos, but they are not on the lunch menu.

Our server was excellent - attentive, thorough in explaining choices, friendly and responsive. Our flatbread was excellent, the roasted brussel sprout salad however had pretty raw brussel sprouts with a bit of charcoal. I loved roasted sprouts but these ones need at least another 20 -25 minutes to have that caramelized roasted flavour. the rest of the salad was great. I would recommend the Fireside to friends looking for a tasty meal for very good value.

The Fireside Grill is a lovely place to take a friend or relative to lunch or dinner. I treated my daughter recently we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, and the service was very courteous and professional. Their bacon and butternut squash soup was truly amazing and fortunately, they offer it all the time! Although I had reserved outdoor eating, the weather did not cooperate and there was no problem in getting us a table inside. I am never disappointed when I dine at the Fireside Grill and would highly recommend it.

1st timer to Fireside Grill. We live in Brisbane Australia and met our niece who lives in View Royal. Nice Tudor style building with a fireplace alit. Open concept made it a little noisy at times, but everything else was exceptional. We will come there again after trying other venues.

Nice out of the way place with lovely ambience. This was a Mother's Day Buffet, not my favourite way to have a meal but do understand that with the volume likely necessary. Food was good and always replenished. some items could have been hotter as when you wait in a line, food cools before you get back to table. I think somehow, there should have been an smaller menu option for those with dietary restrictions, eg. diabetics, they cannot eat nearly the amount of items and $50 for yogurt fruit and granola is quite steep! All in all the other 5 liked it and would go back on a regular basis to try normal menu! ps, a mimosa should have been included to start the meal.

I love the views on the patio they are beautiful and I love the building. The buffet was nice but the food was stone cold. Maybe the warmers aren't very good? They offer bottomless orange juice and coffee with your meal but they don't really fill it up or come to ask if you'd like more. And the juice they do give you is like 1/4 cup. I wasn't impressed for $140 I wouldn't do it again. Maybe I'd try just a regular breakfast.

We came for brunch at 11 am on Sunday, with reservation. Few people there, not busy at all. Everything was fine until the food came. 3 people had the huevos rancheros, which was mostly undressed coleslaw mix, with two tiny fried tortillas, with a tiny dollop of the listed ingredients, topped by an egg. The tortilla bowls overcooked, tough, and tasteless, and overwhelmed the other ingredients. Two had waffles. The waffles were the size and texture of frozen waffles, and had obviously not been cooked fresh because they were thin and soggy. My chorizo bowl was excellent. The bill was huge, as e petted at a highly recommended place, but we will NEVER be back. Terrible value for money.

We were taken to a table in a noisy area, asked to move and were seated upstairs where it was quieter. Love the decor, food was great and staff was friendly and attentive. Will def be back.

Excellent birthday lunchtime here. They've changed the warm brussel sprout salad (for the better) and it now includes fried spicy chickpeas! Prosecco is nearly flat but I was told that's the "style" of that brand. Tacos looked great - and will be ordered next visit. A favourite spot.

Everything was perfect - food quality/taste/value; service; ambience... The only issue was that the noise level was way too high - we could hardly hold a conversation. That said, there was a very loud table close to us.
