Fireside Grill is a local favorite, in a lovingly restored heritage Tudor estate, offering farm-to-table cuisine, extensive wine and beverage selections, and a unique ambiance featuring several indoor and outdoor fireplaces.
Nestled in a grove of wild oak trees, and meticulously maintained gardens, Fireside Grill is located only 10 minutes drive from the downtown core and offers a distinctly Victorian dining experience. Check out our local favorites and our Farm to Table Dinner Menu coming this summer.

Fireside Grill has been voted by Readers Choice of Victoria - Times Colonist awards in 2018-23 for Best Fine Dining, Brunch, Patio, and Happy Hour patio as well! Indulge in our signature tasting menu, a celebration of Vancouver Islands bounty of ingredients. Crafted with seasonality in mind, each dish pays homage to our farmers, forests and ocean, along with the whims of our culinary team. Was a bit noisy. It was hard to hear our conversation but our server was exceptional and the food was terrific.

We had a lovely dinner near the fireplace - James was our server and was EXCELLENT as always. Food was great - seafood cakes and the newly added to the menu, bao buns! Cocktails were gorgeous and delicious. It is a little pricey for a weeknight meal but always worth it!

Always delicious. Pricey, yes, but for the quality of food and the ambience, it was worth it. Don't let the "Grill" fool you, it is not a Pub with Pub food, it's a very nice night out.

Excellent, as always. Sat on outdoor patio, weather not great but patio is covered and heated, so very comfortable.

The service was very good. The appetizers were amazing and we had 3 of them.We sat on the patio and were cozy with the heaters on. The prime rib dinner I ordered was just okay. Asked for medium. It was well done which would have been fine if it wasn’t dry. The rest of the meal was really good. Had the brownie for dessert and it was delicious.

We eat brunch monthly at Fireside Grill. Everything is always great. This time, however, we arrived to find we had no reservation, even though I had received a reservation confirmation. Fortunately we sit on the outside patio and there is always space there. Marjie :)

The Calamari was the best I’ve eaten. Service was top notch and eating outside was a bonus.
