    My wife and I had a very good experience at Firebirds 5.18.24. We have added it to our rotation of favorite restaurants for special occasions when we know we'll spend $75+.

    I have always had good service here, but last night was excellent, the staff here and the food are amazing. Firebirds never disappoints.

    Always great food and atmosphere. Was able to sit outside for lunch and it was beautiful weather.

    Firebirds was awesome as usual! However, I wish that they would extend Happy Hour and incorporate a Reverse Happy Hour and weekend Happy Hour.

    We were seated quickly at our preferred booth. Our server was delightful. Sea bass was excellent.

    Exceptional food and GREAT service by John--TX! HOWEVER, would rate reception/seating team and their (LACK OF) attention to detail as POOR! Arrived a bit early for our 5:30 PM reservation based on the military recognition special day (despite already eating at FB's this past Sun), requesting a booth. Told to wait--which is what we did until 5:40 when I had to approach the desk to ask what was going on. Crickets!!!! All three looked confused and NEVER followed up to ask if we were still there (right in front of them). Did so ONLY after seeing several other guests--some who came in after us--say they had 5:30 reservations and were seated--including some at booths. When they were finally embarrassed enough to seat us, then brought to a table when a requested booth was right next to us. ??? Thankfully, talked hostess into that option. After that, all was fine. This extended confusion is NOT indicative of FB's usual customer service. The reception team was a clueless trio with no explanation for not following up despite being 3 ft away for 10 mins+. NOT the way to start a special military day after serving in the USAF for 26 years. Will now ensure future visits and those of friends know to expect this--or at least keep watch for inattentiveness.

    We love Firebirds. We went for the Veterans special. I had the Chilean sea bass and it was delicious. Huge portion too. Ofcourse had the black diamond martini, so good.

    Very delicious food, served hot! Portions were so large 4 of the 6 took home a box of leftovers. Possibly have smaller portions and charge less. A Senior menu possibly, even with 4 items on it. We've been there before, but the others had not, and did mention high prices. Thank you for offering the Veteran's the free meal.

    For the Armed Services special day, I took my husband and our son, who are both combat veterans, to lunch. (Omaha Firebirds) Our server was Kanneth, and he explained that the offer was "buy one, get one free"; I said that's just fine as I was taking them to lunch to honor them. Kanneth was very friendly, attentive and just a pleasure as a server! The food was great, as aways. When Kanneth brought me the bill, he explained that he told his manager both my husband and son were veterans, and the manager gave us both of their meals as a thank you. What a great server and manager! It's nice to know that one of our favorite places appreciates our military and veterans!
