Fiori is a charming and cosy Italian restaurant and floral boutique in the heart of Montrose, led by chef Alessio from Rome. The restaurant is located in a cute two-story building, has a nice patio with lights hanging on the outside and a terrace; massive oak trees surround the building creating an unique atmosphere. The beautifully interior, decorated with fresh flowers, plants and paintings, offers a lovely and light ambience. Fiori focuses on using authentic traditional recipes. At lunch offers salads, pasta and Italian sandwiches. At dinner, Fiori transforms to a relaxed lounge atmosphere with a full bar and refined wine selection, where you can have a classic Italian aperitive and then taste a selection of true Italian dishes. Periodically Fiori hosts local artist to delight you with paintings and live entertainments. Moreover, you can surprise your guests with a table floral arrangement or a bouquet for your partner. Fiori is available for private parties/events of many sizes.

Great food and service in a cozy Montrose setting. I got the 5 course tasting menu with had great variety and solid value. Wife ordered a salad and short rib ravioli (that had a nice bit of late heat). Will certainly come back.

We love going to Fiori. It's a small and quaint little corner with incredible food and super nice ambiance. The food never misses, the service is outstanding, and you can even buy flowers there. It's one of our go-to Italian restaurants in the city for sure. Definitely recommend.

The food is superb. The chef and owner, Alessio Vitale, is from Rome and prepares authentic Italian dishes that are incredibly delicious. He is a culinary artist. The Cacio E Pepe is my favorite dish. My son loves the Lasagna Alla Bolognese and ordered another to go.

This is my second visit to Fiori. To be honest I would have been there more often, but my wife is not a big fan of Italian food. This is an absolutely lovely authentic neighborhood family-owned restaurant. We there on a Monday so naturally it was relatively quiet. The pickled artichokes were outstanding. Egglant was properly prepared(!) and the lasagna was definitely up to scratch. Highly recommended.

Fiori is by far our favorite Italian restaurant in Houston. Chef Alessio and his team have created a charming and elegant environment complete with a flower shop inside. The service is always great with excellent recommendations for reasonably priced and delicious wine options. But mostly the food—it’s like being in Italy! I’m currently obsessed with the Pasta Carbonara, but there are so many yummy things to try. You won’t regret going to Fiori!

We had a party of 8 for a bachelorette! Our server Derrick was amazing and knowledgeable. Not one thing we ordered was less than 4 stars. Truly a great experience with even better food! Highly recommend the lasagna felt like I was back in Italy

Our waiter was great, I’d like to get that on the record first. Tl;dr: We won’t be going back and I wouldn’t recommend place. When we first walked in, the restaurant had a restroom smell, very unpleasant. We also noticed there was no music playing or anything to set a mood. I ordered a martini that didn’t come in a martini glass, for 16 bucks, that’s very disappointing. The food was very bland. No seasonings at all. We ordered the bolognese and cacio e pepe. I’ve never experienced a cheese and pepper pasta that was so thick and chalky. The bolognese, again, was very bland. It tasted like water. I asked for salt and pepper but even that wasn’t enough to elevate the dish. Spent 150 bucks on a poor meal, it wasn’t a great look for our Valentines weekend.

Visited Fiori with a group of my friends and had a wonderful dining experience. I made reservations for 7 guests and we were seated right away in a cute and cozy spot upstairs. The service was excellent, our waiter was friendly and helpful, and gave us some great suggestions from the menu. I ordered the lasagna (based off recommendations) and it was delicious! The prices were on the higher end, but the portions were generous.

Listen to the reviews!!! We definitely should have. We came for Valentine's Day. You have to leave a card to reserve a table. You're gonna be angry when they don't even honor your reservation. If you get dressed up, and the LEAST you get is slow service, count yourself lucky. Multiple people were served incorrectly but then had to pay regardless, couldn't track down their waiter, or were missing items. Several people were like us, and weren't served at all. After 45 minutes without even getting water, we called Flemings and left. FLEMINGS sat us within 5 mins on their busiest day, and were worth the money. There's a reason when I mentioned our date reservations were for Fiori, everyone said they "didn't know it." It's forgettable by design, like a bad dream. I pity the people that stayed, and paid a hefty bill to be treated like trash. That's just not my thing. Tl;Dr- The service will never be worth anything they could cook, or the price tag attached. There are several great restaurants on the same street even that justify the similar price point they all have. Drive three minutes, or walk 30 yards, and go to another one.

The service sucked and we were there for 2 hours to get our food, and it's was not worth $200 to eat here. My girlfriend and I will not go back here because it's overrated and overpriced.

The food was good, but even with the reduced menu for Valentine's Day, service was very slow and confused. We were served the next table's first two courses, then received our appetizers twice. The waiter neglected us for long periods, possibly because we didn't order wine, thereby reducing our bill and his tip. My pasta course cooled very quickly, indicating that it might have sat too long before being served. The food was otherwise very good. The evening was saved by the truly outstanding flowers I requested for the occasion. The in-house florist assembled a fantastic bouquet that currently graces our table at home. I will go back soon on a less-crowded day when the full menu is available and hope for decent service.

Food was excellent; however, service was not good. It took 3.5 hours for us to eat our meal because we waited sometimes 20-30 minutes for our server to return between courses to take our order. Everyone was very nice but they seemed disorganized and overwhelmed.

We dined at Fiori with friends on a Saturday night. It wasn’t too crowded and the service was great. Food was wonderful! We shared the antipasti and the caprese salad. I had the carbonara and my husband had the spaghetti. They were both yummy!

One of the poorest dining experiences in a city with such incredible options for Italian food. The ambiance was pretty terrible - and the decor was appalling for a moderately expensive restaurant. Cheap, sparse and kind of tacky. The menu was underwhelming as well. I asked for a wine list and was told that it was "under construction" but if I let them know what I wanted, they would bring me something. I asked for a dry Italian white and after several minutes was offered a Chardonnay (not at all what I had in mind). I suggested a Pinot Grigio and it was like it had dawned on them for the first time to offer that! We ordered an appetizer (the crostini - wasn't very good), drank a glass of wine and left to go to a far better restaurant down the street where we had amazing service and stellar food.

Overpriced. Ambiance could be elevated by removing the bright lighting in the evening and rearranging the tables inside. Well designed on outside. Service was good. Food was fine but small portions. Ordered a caprese salad, and it only filled half the plate. Always down to try new places, but this place could be improved.

This has been on my list for so long, finally got to go. Very enjoyable - great flavors. Relaxing atmosphere. Had a great dinner. I am a little burnt out on all the aggressively fancy newer dining options up here, this was a real treat. Everyone was super pleasant. Salad dressing was not my cup of tea - balsamic vinegar is just always a tad sweet for me. But that is obviously super subjective.

New Year’s Eve dinner started out good but ended poorly. When I made the reservation in early December the web site did not mention a pre fixe dinner. Only after arrival did we realize this was a multi course fixed meal, but at this point it was too late to change. After all courses but dessert had been served, roughly an hour and one-half later, we waited for dessert. 30 minutes later with empty wine glasses and no dessert we went down stairs, found our waiter, paid and left as we had other plans for New Year’s Eve and could wait no longer. We were charged for desserts that we never received and spent two hours there. The food was mediocre to good, the steak and pasta dishes were good, everything else was mediocre. Also I watched a waiter drop the spoon on the floor, for the party next to us, put the dropped spoon on a tray, then pick it up and handed to the a customer.

We made reservation last minute and dined on patio. Patio had no outdoor heaters. I understand not wanting to keep them running if guests are not outside, but restaurant should note no heaters are available for outdoor dining if the intent is to not provide accommodation at all.

Fiori is beautiful. We were there on Christmas. Our service was very, very slow—about 15 minutes to get water. Given it was a holiday, we understood. My dad ordered gluten free pasta. The server brought regular pasta, so my dad sat alone while we all ate. We explained he has a severe allergy to wheat….and the server brought us a plate of bread for him to eat while we waited 😩. His new pasta came out after we were all done. The food was fine, but not good enough to justify the issues.

Our experience was exceptional. Very pretty restaurant, well appointed. Service was exceptional. We started with the Chianti poached pear and spinach salad with blue cheese and walnuts. Entrees were spinach ravioli and lasagna and finished with warm chocolate cake topped with vanilla ice cream.

Food is average and not worth the price. Overall service was ok as they said they were short on staff on a Saturday night. Worth a try but not going back, as there are many options at that price point .

Asked for spaghetti with bolognese on side for kids and they said they couldn’t do it. No problem. Asked for buttered noodles. Got the buttered noodles and they charged me for the bolognese at 27 dollars because “that’s what we had to ring it up as!” Upstairs also stunk of sewage.

The meat and cheese platter was sub par which took over 20 mins to come out. The mixed drinks were watered down. Could have used better ice and appropriate glasses. It took us nearly 40 mins to get our entree because the server forgot to put it in and the kitchen didn’t prioritize it after noting the mistake. All that said, the pasta was phenomenal! I can’t stress enough how good the pasta was. It’s a shame the overall experience was so poor.

The food at Fiori is very good but in my opinion, what really sets it apart is the service. The staff was excellent and provided great recommendations on dishes. I would definitely recommend.
