NEVER TRUST A ROUND PIZZA!

Figs Pizza is most likely like no other pizza you’ve ever had. Don’t be surprised by the large freeform shape—its specifically part of what will go into your overall experience in enjoying this unique meal.

The crust will be so crisp and thin it will be close to brittle. That finely crisped quality is achieved by the special technique used in making the dough and a short cooking time at a very high temperature. The toppings are the finest freshest available and are, as often as possible local produce and other ingredients.

A distinctive quality of a Figs Pizza is that it will cool down quickly. If you take a pizza with you please follow the directions provided by the restaurant when heating it again at home.

    Our favorite pizza was nowhere near what we’ve enjoyed here before. Todd English should be ashamed. Just doughy and minimal adds like the mushrooms, onions and eggplant parm and burnt.

    Love Figs!! Still one of the best places for its value on Charles St. Their pizzas are amazing!

    As always the food and service were great. We enjoyed the pizza and pasta! The venue was close to the start of the 5K race so a bonus to be able to check that out before the race.

    When we arrived promptly at our reservation time, we smelled cleaning chemicals and saw workers taking out the trash. The woman at the counter said they had decided to close early and that they never saw our reservation, until she checked their device when we arrived. A complete waste of our time, completely unprofessional and no explanation for the early closure.

    A few things stood out as problematic for a restaurant like this: the paper menu was crumpled and dirty; our main courses came out shortly after we were served our salads so they were lukewarm by the time we started eating them; the pizza crust was underdone; no grated cheese offered for our pasta; the top of the red pepper flakes container had to be removed to access them; the salt shaker looked like it was just grabbed from a grocery store shelf; the waiter never came around to check on us after the meal was served; we had to request water glasses to be refilled. I wouldn’t usually write a review like this but this restaurant could and should do better. The waiter was friendly enough but the basics in good service lacked. The food was meh. For example, we had to search for the beets in the beet salad. The sauce on one of the pastas was plopped under the noodles, nothing on top.

    For a small establishment with limited seating capacity, I was hoping a little better than a very casual service restaurant. They brought appetizers and main courses together. Forgot drinks and had to remind them. No deserts.
