Welcome to 'Fête,' brought to you by Chef David Slay where the very essence of celebration, or 'Fête' in French, comes to life in the form of a casual yet stylish bistro, whisking you away to the cozy corners of your favorite Parisian neighborhood.

As you step into our charming establishment, you'll find two distinct rooms that each tell a unique story. The first exudes a minimalistic elegance, adorned with antique caricatures that pay homage to tradition. The second room welcomes you with a whimsical embrace, featuring playful details such as wallpaper adorned with monkeys enjoying cigars and libations one wouldn't typically associate with jungles.

This unique blend of culinary heritage is what makes Fête a haven for connoisseurs of both French and Lebanese cuisine, crafted from the finest ingredients sourced fresh from our very own farm, the Slay Estate & Vineyard.

Music was unbearably loud at 7pm. Felt like dining in a nightclub and it wasn’t even that crowded. Not the experience I went for which was a shame bc it’s a beautiful, elegant space. The music was neither of those things. My steak was undercooked and when they brought it back out, it was completely overdone. It was awful but I just sucked it up bc I didn’t want to send it back again. Pretty disappointing evening.

Lovely restaurant with a sexy Parisian flair! Favorite drink is their Negroni. Loved the lamb meatballs! Hummus is delicious and trout almandine is a favorite dish! We also loved the clipped salad! Great service and the nextdoor speakeasy X is a must to have an after dinner drink and some dancing!

Live in Manhattan Beach and been to other Slay Restaurant with excellent food. The Vibe in this place is excellent; drinks and wine list good. GM, Marilyn, is face of business. Warm, welcoming and a local herself knowing a lot of clientele. With high price of dining out these days it's important to feel like restaurant values their clients. Food here is underwhelming but hopefully it will catch up. Otherwise, a lovely night out for drinks and appetizers. Worth trying and determining your own opinion.

We had passed by Fête a few weeks earlier, and were intrigued by their menu’s creative bistro offerings, and inviting interior. I made a reservation for Saturday, and we had a wonderful experience at Fête. Starting with their excellent, polite and staff. We were recovering from a recent death of my wife’s Mom, as well as medical and surgical issues. I couldn’t find an appropriate category like “special occasion” or celebration, so I wrote a comment of how we were looking forward to dining there. To our pleasant surprise, the hostess Abby, warmly greeted us and gave their appreciation for the note. We were given a choice of nice tables, and we opted for a quieter one which was cozy. Our server Ken, was a gem ~ welcoming, making great recommendations for drinks and dining options. Matt was very nice also. We started with two terrific Knob Creek rye Manhattans which were perfect. Appetizers included the best Dolmades we’ve had in a long time with a delicious lamb and rice filling and nice fresh grape leaves not overcooked, but a perfect texture. Deviled eggs had delicious ham. Prior to ordering our main courses, Marilyn the manager came by to check in on us, and made a fabulous recommendation to accompany the Faroe Island salmon, and I ordered the Orange duck confit with delicious tiny thumbellina carrots. We had nice conversations with Ken and Marilyn, and watched as Abby meticulously set up other tables. For dessert, Marilyn treated us to a scrumptious strawberry and rhubarb tart with vanilla bean ice cream. You could really taste the terrific rhubarb. This was a perfect, relaxing evening which we really needed for ourselves. We cannot wait to return to Fête for another terrific dining experience! We’d also like to explore other Slay restaurants in the future.

My son wanted to try escargot for the first time and Fete did not disappoint. We had a great meal and he has already requested a return visit.

The four of us had a great meal at Fête. We started out with the Chevre appetizer. My wife and I both had the shrimp skewers which are fantastic and one of our favorites. One of our friends who is a light eater had the escargot and it was more than enough, and the other had the lamb chops which he said were excellent.

Excellent food! Creative, fresh, and delicious. Staff is also very friendly and service is always great. Same review I’d write for all of Slay’s restaurant’s though. They are all unique and amazing in their own way. Special shout out to manager Jacob who always makes sure the experience is on point and goes out of his way to make sure you feel welcomed!
