Located in one of Victoria's oldest buildings, Ferris' Upstairs Seafood And Oyster Bar presents deeply coloured wooden floors and rich brick walls accented by candlelight.

Featuring the best in fresh seafood from our local waters, and premium steaks from Alberta. It's a great place to lounge and enjoy what Vancouver Island has to offer. Small plates and large, our menu changes weekly based on the best in available produce and season.

We boast an extensive wine list from Europe, California and Canada. Six rotating craft beers on tap and carefully curated cocktails featuring local spirits and house made ingredients.

Seafood, meat, vegetarian and vegan options available. Kids welcome.

Located in the heart of downtown Victoria. Regularly named one of the best seafood restaurants in town, we offer a romantic setting perfect for date nights, special occasions and casual dinners. Tapas available from our neighbouring tapas bar Perro Negro on the weekends.

Hostess mistakenly mentioned that our booking was for the main room, we managed to get a table upstairs as a walk-in, but we were in a dark corner. Our server “ Kennedy” was superb, she was friendly and professional. After we showed her the confirmation frm Open table, she moved us to a much better table. We had the raw oysters, super fresh and tasty. Fried smelt was yummy. Grilled Octopus was slightly overcooked and the Bouillabaisse is quite salty with a bit too many potatoes instead of seafood… lol

I’m embarrassed to say that I have lived in Victoria for 63 years and this was the first time at Ferris’ Upstairs. We had a wonderful dining experience with fantastic service and perfectly prepared food. I am not an oyster fan, but my wife is and she was delighted with the oysters. I had plenty of other choices which were delicious. We will be back in June when our son visits us from Toronto.

Absolutely loved it but felt the food was delivered to quickly vs being able to enjoy each plate as we were all sharing.

Dining here is always an absolute pleasure. We had the oysters with Horseradish Vodka - fantastic combination. Then a polenta dish which completely blew our mind. Then the steak which was perfectly cooked. Service and ambience were also top notch.

Although I told my server one oyster was bad, no effort was made until after I paid to improve the situation. Otherwise the food was great.
