Nice friendly restaurant with good quality Greek Food. Not a huge menu, but what they do is very nice. We went as a family and found the service team very warm and welcoming. Great for families.

Fava is one of our favourites. Typically Greek welcome, we were looking forward to the new menu. Quite an early dinner for us, so shared ouzomezze was delicious - tomatoes, olives, taganaki, fave, aubergine salad, falafel, pitta all generous portions. Delicious. We also had nicely charred Greek sausages and tirokefteri, all washed down with Greek Kleoni krassi. Great service, nicely relaxed even with a busy 5 30 booking. Great atmosphere. Loved the food and the ambience, will definitely be back. Only downside was no decaf coffee available. A jar of instant decaf is an easy option?

Food was mid, portions were much smaller than usual greek restaurants and it’s price-value was not worth it. We had an Albanian gentleman serving us, who was great, but our Greek server was more than rude for whoknowswhat reason. Meat were overcooked, but seafood was good. Meze platters were too small.

I had a meal here a year or so ago and loved it-fresh, authentic Greek food. Returned for a celebration meal last night and was seriously disappointed. The menu had changed -many of things I’d previously enjoyed (spanikopita!!) no longer on menu. most disappointingly removing the vegetarian moussaka means the main course option for vegetarians very limited. Much of the food was bland and fish overbooked and I didn’t eat it. The server was unconcerned and appeared generally checked out. They were asking for payment in cash which seemed odd.

Have been to this place quite a few times and have never been disappointed with the food or the service which are both top tier. Can thoroughly recommend. I would however recommend booking as, unsurprisingly, it's always been busy when I've been there even mid-week

I've wanted to go to Fava for a long time, so when I had a meeting that side of the city I decided to treat myself. I was not disappointed. My food was so fresh. I got my leftover tzaziki to take away with me. It's my new favourite restaurant in Edinburgh, and well worth the bus journey.

Lovely place, food and staff. Staff were very attentive without being intrusive. The food was lovely, flavoursome and well presented. I loved the decor and crockery too.

Had a fantastic meal here. Superb menu - I’ll need to go back and have the things I didn’t order! Food was delicious; fresh, tasty and generous portions. Staff were friendly and restaurant busy at 6pm. Would definitely recommend.

Fava never disappoints. I introduced 3 new people to it and they all loved it. Atmosphere great- very noisy but once you get settled into conversation it’s just great. Thanks for being consistently good Fava.

We arrived 15 minutes early but were seated straight away. The lovely waitress took our order which was brought to us promptly. The food was delicious, and plentiful. We will definitely be going back.

Really enjoyed my working lunch there. Great tasty food and inexpensive. First time there but will definitely be back. We are regulars to Cyprus, so I found the food to be authentic, delicious and value for money.

A nice vibe with friendly staff and good food. The vegetarian starter sharing platter was the star of the show. The toilets are on the same floor for anyone with mobility issues.
