Chef Sebby Holmes launched Farang back in 2016 after trading at street food markets throughout London. A year later he took up temporary residency in Farang's current home in Highbury & Islington. After excellent reviews, he took on the space permanently after his step-father retired and since, has gone from strength to strength.
Farang was recently inducted into the National Restaurant Awards top 100 and awarded a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, which we have kept four years running. We also received the Thai select award from the UK Thai Embassy which certifies authenticity and the freshness of our ingredients.
We’re a young team of enthusiastic individuals, who over the last few years have bought our passion and skills to the table.
Parties of six and larger, kindly contact the restaurant directly for reservations. These larger groups will be offered the shared feasting menu only and a deposit of £10 per head needs to be taken to confirm the booking, which will be deducted from your bill.

We are offering a feasting menu only for this week, please see our website to view our courses. We will have vegetarian/vegan and pescatarian options. Please let us know in advance if you have any allergies and we will do our best to accommodate them. The £10 is a deposit for our experience, the set menu price is £60 per person. Wine pairing available for £35 per person.

unfortunately we had to wait at least 10 minutes to be served, ' 'food was nicely spiced, however the beer battered chicken did not look as though it was freshly cooked, The chicken was a little bit firm as though it was in the fridge overnight and then taken out to use the next day. apart from that everything else was okay.

We visited this place for our anniversary, very good atmosphere and food was very delicious and good value for the money. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
