Great food with quick service on a Saturday evening in an obviously popular spot! The scallops and pork belly dish was a delicious combination of tastes that really worked well together. Wife’s fish and chips met her approval with a rating of 9 almost 10 for flavor and crunch!

Service was excellent though a bit slow. The halibut special was very good although small portion. The Blackened snapper was a generous portion, tasty, fish a bit overcooked. We had the Oysters for happy hour, good value, fresh and tasty!

What have I been eating? They looked like oysters but tasted nothing like the smooth & tasty oysters from Fanny Bay. The lobster bisque was so fresh and buttery. Wine & beer solid.

Some of the very best oysters that we have had in our (my wife and my) eight decades of life (and seven of eating oysters). Not to mention that the dozen oysters price is eminently fair, and that the variety (4 each of 3 types) was superb. And also not to mention that our servers were very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. All in all, we'd be in Fanny Bay at least once a week if we did not live 3000 miles away.

There were two highlights from our dinner - the great food and the great service. In particular, our server was fantastic. She helped us understand the menu, allowed us to taste a wine before purchasing it and provided just the right amount of attention. The food was also excellent. The oysters were fresh and tasty, the tuna tartare very good, the crab-onara excellent and the halibut special also very good. And importantly, we didn’t feel rushed. Will definitely return if we ever make it back to Vancouver.

Best seafood ever!!! The crabs and oysters are alive in tanks right there. You cannot get fresher! It was expensive but we will never forget the experience- wonderful!!!

Wow! Our new favorite in Vancouver. The Seacouterie Platter is amazing and not to be missed. Fantastic, friendly service and nice cocktails and beverages. We also got chilled Dungeness crab and the shuckers choice dozen raw oysters on the half shell which were incredible!

Love the fresh oysters, mussels n clam, uni sashomi and oh my the sablefish collar is so good‼️rich, much better than hamachi kama, even the fins are crispy. We also had oyster shooters to start👍

The value of food charged building happy hour is fine but the value charged for dinner is too expensive. For example, we ordered the Umani Bomb which only has a tiny amount of caviar, a small piece of Oyster and a small piece of uni only. The charge was 14 dollar each. Two pieces cost $28. However, on the bill, the charge was 30 dollars that I found out later, not honest.

It was absolutely fabulous seafood, service and atmosphere ! We came at a busy dinner hour and the only downside was a few extra minutes getting the drinks to us. But overall fantastic. We will be back.

The oyster selection was wonderful. The drinks were mediocre. The service was below average - friendly, but seemingly inexperienced. We have other seafood restaurants that we frequent and thought we would try something different but this did not come close to other establishments in the realm of service and ambience at the same price point.

Everything was delicious! Paella, geoduck, oysters, sablefish and lobster poutine was so good. Our friends visiting from California will definitely be returning. Gotta try this place if you love seafood.

We arrived early, and got a seat at the bar no problem. We shared the muscles and clam and a pasta seafood dish. Both very good. We were drinking happy hour $6 beers. Service was efficient.

Always a dinner stop for us when we visit Vancouver. The Oyster selection is impressive, the staff is knowledgeable and the speciality cocktails never disappoint. We ordered 2 shuckers dozen, the grilled octopus and the Seacuterie, which was a delight.

Went with some friends and we all tried a bit of everything. Oysters were good, drinks were good-scallops and pork belly was overdone, mussels were bland, truffle fries were mostly crumbs. The tagliatelle was good but the clams were really tough. Overall the group was let down. Probably won’t be back.

I had 36 oysters and they were absolutely amazing. Best place best place best place best place by farthe service is fantastic. The atmosphere is down-to-earth. Everyone is so super friendly. I will spend a million dollars there without any hesitation. Good people, good food and very respectful.
