Were told BBQ chicken would take 25 minutes to get and could substitute another item for our Q for 2. Asked for chicken fingers and they came out dark and greasy looking--unacceptable & refused them. Suddenly BBQ chicken breasts were done and brought out. Ribs were grisly and subpar from other visits to this location. Best things were cheese curds/fried pickles. Server was attentive and pleasant but won't be going back anytime soon.

Great Wednesday night dinner, restaurant was very quite, seemed like we had the place to ourselves 😀. Bbq was great - sides were okay. Service was great and fast.

The food was good with generous portions. The servers were friendly snd helpful. The only problem was it took about half an hour to get our food.

The ribs were very tough. It was like chewing shoe leather. The manager was very nice and it and got me a free dessert but it was too pricey of a meal not to enjoy it.

The food used to be better , now just okay . I miss the optional hamburger patty with brisket mixed in it . I also liked the old log cabin interior better than the new interior . Service was good , but place was pretty empty for lunch .

I went there in hopes of getting some nice BBQ Beef ribs but they dont carry them. That was disappointing. They only had pork. The food was great but servings were extremely small for the amount of money we paid. To be honest I probably would not think Famous Daves if I wanted smoked or BBQ again. My chicken thigh and leg were very small also. I want a big portion for the amount of money being paid. The staff were great and very nice. If you want to draw in a crowd serve big portions and make it the go to place for bbq and smoke meat.

Famous Tina and Famous James were amazing. The Quality of the food and temperature was not great and one of our sides the arrived after my Mom had to have her food heated as it was cold and the loaded baked potato came out as we were leaving. If you want Barbecue do yourself a favor and forget Famous Dave’s!!!

They were very upfront when we came in about the wait due to being short staffed. Our waitress was great. The food came a bit quicker than they indicated it would. It was hot and delicious.

Had a reservation, host sat us at a dirty table. I went up and asked for cleaning supplies. No wait staff acknowledged us, I asked a male server walking by. He got our server. She was not a good server from the get-go. Service was poor at best. Food was good. Prices were decent for portions.

Most of the sauces had pineapple. I’m allergic to pineapple, I know isn’t their fault but there were not more options in sauces

The catfish was over cooked the brisket was extremely dry and the waitress interacted with us 3 times over 1 and half hours. Will never eat here again.

Terrible! Got there on time for our 6:00pm reservation and was seated immediately! We noticed that there were not many people seated but the ones that were seated had no food yet. Everyone was complaining it was taking over a hour to get food! I ask our waiter and was told it was because of the amount of “TakeOut”, orders and when got caught up the people sitting at table would be served! Terrible! Store Manager really needs to be replaced! Never will go back to the store on Rainbow!

Due to COVID, it's been over a year since we've dined at Famous Dave's, so we were a little disappointed to discover their new "look". The nostalgic décor has been replaced with big-screen TVs, which are noisy and distracting, making the restaurant feel more like an adult sports bar, rather than the fun family BBQ house that we had come to love. That aside, the food and service was great and we look forward to our next visit.
