I am sorry for this review. Being from Kansas City and having to choke this down was horrible. The brisket was tough, burnt ends were dry, the 3 St Louis ribs were meatless, also the Cheese curds had no cheese in them.. There were good things though, reservation service, fantastic service, tea, jalapeño sausage, sauces, and the corn muffin. Drive thru BBQ at higher end prices. Never again.

All the meat entrees were great. However, we all had the red skinned mashed potatoes and didn’t think the taste was as good as it usually us.

Open table doesnt work at famous Dave's so we had to sit and wait for 40 minutes when we thought we had reservations. Awful app....

If you know that Father's day is going to be busy get more staff in there. Even after the long wait for the table we waited a very long time for food to be done. The food itself was very good. Waitress and bar staff were excellent.

Our server was excellent and she attended to our group of 10 very well. Food was served hot and the one error made on an order was quickly and graciously corrected. Very nice experience!

The burnt ends were just fatty square chunks of brisket. Not my idea of burnt ends. No caramelization or crust. Crammed 6 people in a round corner table. The ribs were mehe. Quality is declinig

For Mother’s Day dinner our reservation was accommodated right on time. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Our meal was served very quickly.

Great meal for Mother’s Day. They were busy but our service was great and the food was hot. We don’t go very often just because it’s a bit out of our price range but we love it when we splurge and go.

We always enjoy the food at Famous Dave's and have never been disappointed. The only negative is the noise level, on this occasion, a large family group with loud kids and also some loud adults.

We celebrated a birthday with half of our group being under the age of 8. Though we had the reservation, they didn’t have our table ready so we had to wait. The server was kind and patient with the children. She was very accommodating. The baby got lots of attention from all the employees. I found the brisket to be a bit dry and not as good as other places. The appetizers were good and served promptly.

Another visit, another solid if unspectacular performance. It's comfort food done right, and a good example of staying with your strengths. Fine dining it isn't, good food, good service...can't really complain about that.

This is a great place if your doing a date night, but for a family it is expensive. The food is always good and the wait staff friendly, just wish the prices would stop going up.

Famous Jamaal and Famous Grant were awesome for us! Excellent greeting and seating from Grant. Jamaal is an excellent server! He took great care of us, checked in with us just the right amount, and anticipated when we needed something. I hope we have him again as a server. He was having fun at his job and it was obvious that he cared about us and our Dave's experience. He thanked us for coming in a few times and you just don't hear that much anymore at restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Grant thanked us for coming in as we were leaving as well!

We arrived at our schedule time and was told to wait another hour to be seated. I tried to explain we had a reservation at 6:00. I would of been fine waiting 10 or 15 min. The male hostess did not care and was very rude. We ended up leaving to eat somewhere else. I made a reservation so we would not have to wait with 2 small kids. By the time we would of been seated and got to eat our kids would of been complaining. I did send corporate an email that night. This is the reason we stopped eating or going to Famous Daves. The service and hostess are rude and don't honor reservations.

We made a reservation for 6:15... when we arrived a lady before us who did not have reservations asked how long the wait and the answer was 40 min. We stepped up to check in WITH our open table reservation and were told wait would be 45 min..!! We asked how can this be since we made a reservation...and the previous party did not?? The answer was: “that’s just the way it works “ Hmmmm we walked out. Not a good answer and it certainly isn’t the way it works. We like Dave’s but this time it fell short.

The Caesar's side salad with chicken wild rice soup and cornbread muffin is the most reasonable meal one could buy anywhere....and it is delicious with not too many calories!!

You should go here just because it will make you feel better. And the food is good. It really is. It isn't hip it isn't trendy, it is a long ways from slick. Which isn't a bad thing. It's just a mostly honest place without pretension and with good eats. A good place to use the Open Table system.

I have always loved Famous Dave's! It is a clean friendly place with great service, however, on our last trip, a group of 10, I believe six of this ordered the ribs because they have always been so great in the past. We were all very disappointed, although the flavor was still very very good, the meat was very very tough, not the tender ribs that I remembered from Famous Dave's. I invited friends and family out for an evening writing about the ribs and I ended up with a lot of egg on my face. I would imagine I will go back again sometime, probably not very soon. But I hope the ribs are back to what they used to be when I try it next time.

We used Open Table to make a reservation and when we arrived they said they don’t really take reservations.. we ended up waiting another half hour upon arrival which is what we were hoping to avoid since we had 2 kids with us. Other than the reservation issues it was great!!
